Nintendo has updated the Japanese release schedule on its platforms for the week of January 13, 2022. Here’s a look at the upcoming digital download schedule:

Niantic has announced a special Community Day Classic for Pokemon GO that will feature Bulbasaur. This is being held during the Season of Heritage.

During the event, you’ll have a higher chance of encountering Bulbsaur. And if you’re lucky enough, you may encounter a Shiny version. Those that evolve Ivysaur (Bulbasaur’s Evolution) during the Community Day or up to two hours afterward will receive a Venusaur that knows the Charged Attack Frenzy Plant.

Gameplay has come in for Freddi Fish 3: The Case of the Stolen Conch Shell, which just landed on Switch yesterday. Fans can check out 21 minutes of footage.

After originally releasing on PC in May 2020, Switch players can finally access Terraria’s major Journey’s End update. Version 1.4 is going live for everyone today.

Journey’s End offers new ways to play the game, over 1,000 new items to find and craft, new bosses, and much more. Previous content has also been updated in terms of balance, graphic quality, and mechanics.

Northplay today announced a final release date for the Switch version of Headland, its colorful action adventure game. It will launch on January 13.

Headland was first announced for Switch in June 2021. It was originally planned for last year, but Northplay missed out on that target by just a bit.

We now have gameplay from the new Switch version of Putt Putt Travels Through Time, a classic point-and-click adventure game from 1997. The title was made available on the system yesterday.

Developer Camel 101 and publisher RedDeerGames have announced that sci-fi survival horror game Syndrome will be coming to Switch sometime this year. Check out an overview and trailer below the break.

Here are the latest events in Fire Emblem Heroes:

  • By popular demand, the New Heroes (and accompanying Forging Bonds) event returning in March is… Nótt and More! Look forward to meeting these Heroes once again!
  • Captain Skills for this week’s Summoner Duels are Earth Rendering, Adroit Captain, and Secret Maneuver! Bonus titles for Resonant Battles are Fire Emblem: Three Houses and Fire Emblem: Mystery of the Emblem. Allegiance Battles will not be held this week.
  • Heroes with Moonbow skills are featured as part of a 5-Star summoning focus! Heroes with Moonbow treat their foe’s Def/Res stats as if they were reduced by 30% during combat. Your first summon in this event won’t cost any Orbs!

The latest events to come to Dragalia Lost are as follows:

  • A Prize Showcase starts on Jan. 4, 10 PM PT! 5-Star adventurers Mitsuhide and Seimei and 5-Star dragon Daikokuten will be featured. When you summon on the Prize Showcase, you will get a prize in addition to the adventurer or dragon who appears!
  • Iblis’s Trial (Water) becomes available in Trials of the Mighty in Dragalia Lost on Jan. 4, 10 PM PT. Take on this quest to earn materials for unlocking Catherine’s mana spiral from the daily bonus.
  • A sixth mana circle, the mana spiral, will be added to 5-Star adventurer Catherine on or around Jan. 4, 10 PM PT.

Previously, Gastova: The Witches of Arkana was successfully funded on Kickstarter, and the project is lined up for Switch. MechWolf Productions was able to raise around $10,000, which was a bit more than the original funding goal.

Gastova: The Witches of Arkana is described as “a light-hearted 2D adventure game” inspired by the likes of Mega Man and Wonder Boy. Players will take on the role of Witch Guardian of Arkana as they go on a journey to track down and defeat the fellow witches that were once Gastova’s classmates and/or closest friends.
