After a decade in the role, Roger Craig Smith will no longer be voicing Sonic the Hedgehog. SEGA hasn’t announced who will be taking over the role moving forward, but some fans are hoping it’ll be Ben Schwartz – who played the character in last year’s movie.

For what it’s worth, Schwartz says he hasn’t given the possibility much thought, though he’s a big fan of Sonic and the fan base. Additionally, he mentioned to ComicBook.com that “nobody’s had a conversation with me about any of that.”

Back in January, Bloodstained: Ritual of the Night received its latest update, which was highlighted by the addition of Classic Mode. Interestingly, a second hidden mode was included as well.

1986 Mode can be unlocked on the Classic Mode title screen. It can be accessed after inputting the Konami Code (Up, Up, Down, Down, Left, Right, Left, Right, [Horizontal Left Face Button]), [Horizontal Right Face Button]). After this, “1986 Mode” should appear on the bottom of the screen.

Yesterday, it was announced that Overcooked 2 is the next Nintendo Switch Online Game Trial in Europe (and Australia). The same news has now been extended to North America as well.

If you’re a Nintendo Switch Online subscriber, Overcooked 2 can be played for free starting on February 10 at 11 AM PT / 2 PM ET. The offer ends on February 16 at 11:59 PM PT / February 17 at 2:59 AM ET. Progress can be transferred to the full version.

Today, Redstart Interactive revealed that its grappling hook platformer Get-A-Grip Chip is on the way to Switch. It can be purchased digitally starting on March 25.

After much speculation, Activision has finally announced that Crash Bandicoot 4: It’s About Time is coming to Switch. It will launch on March 12.

Crash Bandicoot 4: It’s About Time first launched last October. Despite Activision not announcing a Switch version, it was listed for Nintendo’s console in the official website’s source code. Then shortly after release, fans spotted what appeared to be an internal profile for Switch in the game’s data.

Publisher Blowfish Studios and developer PixFroze announced that they’re putting Base One on Switch. The space station simulator, which features hardcore survival and RPG mechanics, is due out in Q2 2021.
