When Nintendo announced Jump Rope Challenge a few months ago, it was marketed as a limited-time release. Nintendo said that the title could be downloaded from the eShop until the end of September. The month is just about over, so time’s running out to get your hands on it.
Jump Rope Challenge is completely free to download from the Switch eShop. Nintendo says it was made “by a small group of Nintendo developers while working from home in Japan as a simple game to add some quick and fun movement into their daily lives.”
Lots of bugs, fish, and sea creatures are on their way out in Animal Crossing: New Horizons – especially if you’re in the Northern Hemisphere. It’s typical for a swap to happen when a new month rolls over, and with October almost here, expect plenty of change in the Switch game.
Polygon was kind enough to put together handy charts showing everything that’s departing Animal Crossing: New Horizons in both hemispheres. Find out what’s leaving once September ends below.
As far as we know, Nintendo has revealed its full slate of games for the rest of 2020. Perhaps there will be a smaller title added in or a surprise like Bravely Default II isn’t delayed, but I think it’s safe to say that there won’t be any major surprises.
Things do at least seem a lot more encouraging now than they did earlier in the year. Over the past few weeks, we’ve found out about Pikmin 3 Deluxe, Super Mario 3D All-Stars (which just launched), Mario Kart Live, and Hyrule Warriors: Age of Calamity. Throw in extras like the Cadence of Hyrule physical release, Super Mario Bros. 35 and Game & Watch: Super Mario Bros., and the lineup is at least fairly packed.
What are you planning on picking up and playing as far as Nintendo releases from Nintendo this year? Have you already started going through Super Mario 3D All-Stars? Let us know in the comments below.
Hyrule Warriors: Age of Calamity was shown off with over ten minutes of footage earlier today, but unfortunately, the demonstration was only in Japanese. However, GameXplain and pepsaurus have now prepared an English translation. Give it a look below.

Little Nightmares II recently revealed its TV Edition. Aside from the game, it comes with a whole bunch of extras. You’ll be getting a collector’s TV box, diorama, figurine of Mono and Six, original soundtrack (both on CD and digital), art book, steelbook, and stickers. There are also a few digital items: access to Nomes’ secret room, digital wallpapers and avatars, and digital art book.
The only disappointing news about Little Nightmares II’s TV Edition is that it’s exclusive to Europe. But on the bright side, importing is an option, and pre-orders are open.
