PlatinumGames has shared a new Astral Chain developer interview with director Takahisa Taura and character designer Masakazu Katsura. During the lengthy discussion, they spoke about initial plans for Legions including wanting players to be able to catch anything they fought, how the protagonists weren’t always designed as twins, and more.

Trine 4: The Nightmare Prince is coming to Switch on October 8, publisher Modus Games and developer Frozenbyte have announced. On the same day, Trine: Ultimate Collection will be available featuring the entire series.

Friday the 13th: The Game Ultimate Slasher Edition – $39.99 (available August 13)

Publisher Graffiti Games and developer Mega Cat Studios today announced that the upcoming roguelite RPG “Eat ‘em Up” shooter Bite The Bullet is coming to Switch. A release is planned for 2020.

Gust has shared some official information about the Gathering Synthesis system in Atelier Ryza: Ever Darkness & the Secret Hideout. We’ve rounded up the details below, which also includes some footage, courtesy of Gematsu.

Entergram has announced a new “girls/mental/suspense” game for Switch titled Kaleidoscope of Phantasm Prison. Ryukishi07, who wrote Higurashi When They Cry, is involved with the project. Artist Itaru Hinoue is also on board.

SOEDESCO today announced that it will publish the horror game Monstrum on Switch. Although a release date wasn’t shared, we do at least know it will be sold both physically and digitally.

The roguelike dungeon explorer Mistover has been dated for Switch – at least in Japan. Krafton will have the game ready to go on October 10. Pricing is set at 3,000 yen.

Mistover should be available soon in the west as well – possibly on the same day as Japan. We’ll let you know when we receive the overseas release date.
