Yesterday, we reported on Capcom’s financial results, including the sales success of the games they released last year. However, they were pretty vague on the actual sales numbers, only stating that, for example, Mega Man 11 “reported strong sales”. Now, thanks to a transcript of a Q&A session that was held after Capcom’s recent financial results briefing, we have concrete numbers for some Mega Man titles.
Mega Man 11 has sold 870,000 copies last year, while Mega Man X Legacy Collection sits at 920,000 copies sold (the Q&A doesn’t make it 100% clear whether this is Legacy Collection 1 or 1+2). Note that these are the sales numbers for all platforms the games launched on, not just Nintendo Switch.
In July of last year, Studio Nanafushi announced Dead or School, a side-scrolling action game with RPG elements, for Nintendo Switch. Today, they shared an update on the game’s development. The Switch version is planned for a release in Japan in August. A physical version of the game will also be available. A Western release has not yet been confirmed; however, the Steam version of the game, which is already out, features English text, so it’s certainly possible that the Switch version will be released outside Japan as well.
The developers of Overcooked 2 recently teased a new update coming to the game. We now have some more concrete info thanks to the following trailer:
The “Chinese New Year” update includes a new map with seven new levels, two new recipes (fruit platter and hot pot), two new chefs (Chinese dragon and pig) and a new game mode, Survival Mode, in which every dish you serve adds seconds to a timer, and when that timer reaches zero, it’s game over. Finally, a replay button was added to the results screen, allowing you to immediately replay a level. The update also includes several bug fixes and other minor improvements.
A new Valentine’s Day-themed Summoning Focus is set to drop into Fire Emblem Heroes this Friday, bringing with it some more Special Hero variations.
The special set is slated to last a full month, until March 8th. While the heroes are unknown at this time, the typical teaser image has been left behind to get fans guessing.
The image can be viewed above. In addition, a new Ishtar and Reinhardt’s Battle Summoning Focus is now live for the next 24 hours. The featured heroes can be viewed below.
Developer FuRyu has officially announced a new Cardfight!! Vanguard series title for Switch, titled “Cardfight!! Vanguard EX”.
Although details are slim at this point, it is known that the title is set for Japanese release sometime in Fall 2019. In addition, the game will feature a new protagonist and original story.
A brief teaser trailer has also been shared from the official website. It can be viewed below.
SimFabric has prepared a new update for Saboteur! on Switch. Version 1.0.2 is out now for all players.
