Pokken Tournament DX

The previously-announced Pokken Tournament DX update has gone live. If you purchased the game, you can access version 1.3.2.

Nintendo’s patch notes only mention that the patch “contains different adjustments for the Pokemon, including the addition of some brand-new actions” and “adjustments have been made to make for a more pleasant gaming experience.” The finer points of the fighters weren’t published officially, but we do have an unofficial translation below.

Jake Hunter Detective Story: Prism of Eyes is due for release on August 9, 2018, but new information has surfaced about this release. According to the latest issue of Weekly Famitsu, the title will include a demo for a new series called Daedalus: The Awakening of Golden Jazz.

It is described as a new chapter that will cover the early childhood of Jake Hunter. Hirotaka Inaba is the writer for this adventure. At the moment, that is all of the information that has been given about it.

Dragon Ball FighterZ

Bandai Namco is planning the Dragon Ball Game Summer Festival 2018 for July 29. During the live stream, news about Dragon Ball FighterZ and Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2 will be shared.

Live stream links are not yet live. However, the event will be shown on Twitch, Niconico, and OpenRec. Details will be shared later.

Aside from the latest on Bandai Namco’s latest Dragon Ball games, a Japanese tournament will also be held.

The single-player RPG Tanzia heads to Switch on July 19. Get a look at over a half hour of footage in the video below.

Nintendo has shared the next piece of music from Smash Bros. Ultimate. Today we have a new Mega Man 4 medley, which is posted below.

Jun Senoue arranged the Mega Man 4 medley. Fans will know Senoue for his work on various Sonic games, as well as his role on the band Crush 40.

Nintendo piqued the curiosity of some of its fans today due to some activity at Universal CityWalk Hollywood. The company was filming something there, though we’re not quite sure what.

Universal CityWalk Hollywood is of course located in California by Universal Parks & Resorts. The first thought that may come to mind is something related to Super Nintendo World, but even so, the filming taking place still raises questions.
