During its latest financial results briefing, Nintendo said that new information about Nintendo Switch Online would be provided this month. The company delivered on its promise, updating its website with the latest details.
One big aspect we learned is that by paying for the service, you’ll be able to access cloud saves. It could especially come in handy to ensure that your save data is backed up online, and can be easily recovered in the unfortunate event that your system breaks.
This week, Nicalis announced Crystal Crisis for Switch. The puzzle fighter is slated for this fall.
Following the announcement, retailers have started to take pre-orders. You can currently reserve it on Amazon or GameStop. It’s also on Amazon Canada here.
Nicalis will be publishing the Crystal Crisis Launch Edition. It’ll include a full-color instruction booklet and bonus goodies to be revealed later.

Bionicle: The Game hit the GameCube in 2003 as developed by Argonaut Games. However, that wasn’t the original plan.
Originally, Saffire Corporation was making its own Bionicle project for GameCube and PC. LEGO Bionicle: The Legend of Mata Nui was planned to take place after Quest for the Toa for the Game Boy Advance – another title developed by the same studio. Unfortunately, after new management was brought in at LEGO, everything was scrapped despite being close to completion.

When the file size for Wolfenstein II: The New Colossus was first added to the Switch eShop, it clocked in at 13.7GB. It looks like it’ll actually take up quite a bit more space than that.
Wolfenstein II’s eShop listing has been updated, and now has a notice stating that at least 23GB of free space will be required upon release. It’s unclear why the actual size is still listed at 13.7GB, but be prepared to have another 10GB of space ready.

Telltale Games may have plans to release Batman: The Enemy Within on Switch soon. Over on the USK, it received a rating just a couple of weeks ago.
Batman: The Telltale Series landed on Switch last November. The Enemy Within is a sequel with five new episodes.
Telltale appears to be ramping up its support for Switch. Minecraft: Story Mode – Season Two was also rated by the USK in April, and also just received a classification from the ESRB this week.
Ultra Space Battle Brawl is now confirmed for Switch. At BitSummit in Japan this weekend, the game has a playable demo.
Here’s the general premise for Space Battle Brawl:
Bluffman and Playism released the JRPG-inspired Artifact Adventure Gaiden on Steam earlier in the year. That game is now confirmed for Switch as well. Bluffman confirmed the news during an official interview segment on BitSummit’s live stream today.
Artifact Adventure Gaiden features a “Game Boy-like design and 2D open world while making choices that freely shape the scenario itself as you progress through this JRPG.” We have further details and a trailer below.
Earlier in the week, news leaked out of a Japanese magazine that big Splatoon news is planned for June 9. Not much was known at the time aside from the fact that the reveal will supposedly “shock the world”.
The situation took a strange turn yesterday. We won’t really get into it here, but a Spanish site obtained a comment from Nintendo in which the company called the original speculation “a baseless rumor.”
