To kick off the week, we have a new Nickelodeon All-Star Brawl 2 spotlight trailer highlighting Ember.

The character, stemming from Danny Phantom, is an all-rounder with solid range thanks to wide-reaching attacks. She has a cheer meter that provides additional power to her special moves when it’s full. Another one of her strong suits is the ability to perform combos fairly easily.

A new launch trailer has surfaced for Afterdream. The game, psychological adventure experience, just came to Switch this past week.

Nintendo put out a new “The story so far” trailer for Detective Pikachu Returns. This is a helpful video for those that missed the original title on 3DS, as it recaps the events that happened in that game.

Original: Today, BlitWorks Games announced a partnership with Flazm to bring Train Valley 2: Community Edition to Switch. It will be available on October 17, 2023.

Train Valley 2: Community Edition is the latest micromanagement tycoon puzzler. The Switch release includes the DLCs Passenger’s Flow, Myths & Rails and Editor’s Bulletin plus a selection of 158 community made levels carefully curated by the developers.

Aruma Studios has announced Shadows of the Afterland, a new point-and-click adventure game for Switch. It will be available in 2024.

Shadows of the Afterland is said to be “a supernatural comedy adventure that takes players on an enchanting journey through the realms of the living and the afterlife.” The scene is set in 1960 Madrid and follows a soul who arrives with the memories of Carolina, a pioneer of the Madrid police force who actually hasn’t been born yet.

Pokemon Scarlet and Pokemon Violet players have come across a new bug following the release of the version 2.0.1 update in which the games can crash completely during the final boss battle. We’ll be going into light spoilers to describe the situation, so keep that in mind before proceeding.

Nintendo shared new data today revealing the top 20 best-selling games on the Japanese Switch eShop for September 2023.

A game topped the charts that you may have never heard about: Suika Game. The watermelon puzzle title only seems to be available in Japan. Outside of that, Pikmin 4 continues to do well by holding on at #2.

The latest UK software sales chart for the week ending September 30, 2023 is now available.

EA Sports FC 24 was the biggest release over the past few days, so it comes as no surprise that it debuts at #1. The game saw the UK’s second-biggest physical launch of the year – but Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom is still at the top. Also worth noting, Switch was the only platform where sales were up compared to FIFA 23, but that’s likely because EA actually put in an admirable effort on the platform this time around.

Beep Japan and RS34 have announced an unfortunate delay for Radirgy 2. The game will now be releasing in Japan on March 28, 2024.

The game was originally planned to launch on December 7, 2023 in Japan. The publisher, Beep Japan, has shared that the delay is needed to ensure further improvements in quality and additional specifications.
