Filming is now underway for the Detective Pikachu movie, and it didn’t take long for someone to stumble upon what is apparently part of the film’s set and some props.
Twitter user HowardBud spotted part of the film’s set in central London. There’s a sign for the “Ryme City Police Department” (Ryme City being the place the Detective Pikachu game and apparently also the movie takes place in), a billboard with some recruitment and missing persons (and missing Pokemon) fliers, a sign for the Police Plaza and some covered up cars.

The Nintendo Switch Parental Controls app has received an update, though it only looks to be available on iOS at present. The latest patch is version 1.4.1. Nintendo’s update notes only make mention of bug fixes.
As far as we’re aware, this update has not yet been distributed on Android. Google Play still has Nintendo Switch Parental Controls at version 1.4.0. If that changes, we’ll let you know.
Thanks to Jake for the tip.
Lost Sphear finally made its debut in North America and Europe this week. The launch was accompanied by a day one update. Square Enix didn’t really go into the specifics, only stating that it provides “new equipment and artefacts, a new dungeon, the new Moonlight Battleground mode and much more.” Thankfully, the Japanese website has more information.
For Moonlight Battleground, a new NPC “Transcender of Reason” shows up on the Fading Hill after you’ve cleared the game. Speak with him to be able to have rematches against previous bosses. Their strength levels will be adjusted to the player’s levels, so they will offer challenging battles.
Mad Mimic uploaded the first three entries in its new developer diary series for No Heroes Here. The first one delves into how the ideas flow in a game studio while the second focuses on the developer’s inspirations to create the mechanics and atmosphere. In the third, there’s talk about how other Brazilian studios helped the artists on creating the game’s art style. All three dev diaries can be seen below.
NIS America published a new trailer for SNK Heroines: Tag Team Frenzy from EVO Japan 2018, which included the reveal of Nakoruru. Check out the video below.
We also have the following overview for Nakoruru:
The divine spirit of nature, Nakoruru, makes her SNK Heroines debut! Originally appearing in arcade-favorite Samurai Shodown in 1993, this defender of nature most recently appeared as part of the Another World Team in 2016’s The King of Fighters XIV.
