The next European Splatfest has been announced for Europe, and the topic at hand is quite… interesting. Players are being asked about which position they prefer the toilet roll to be hanging.

Europe’s new Splatfest will be taking place during the weekend of October 7. The event will take place for a full day as usual.

For now, we’ve not yet heard about the next North American Splatfest. We’ll keep you updated if any news comes in.

Early reports from consumers indicate that Nintendo has done a much better job with Super NES Classic Edition shipments compared to last year’s NES Classic Edition. Still, if you’ve lucked out on finding a unit, don’t turn to the likes of eBay just yet.

Polygon heard from Target, GameStop, and Toys “R” Us that more SNES Classic Edition consoles will be available throughout the holiday season. The only slight unknown is Best Buy. The retailer did not respond to Polygon’s inquiry, but it’s very unlikely they’ll be left out of future shipments.

As for Target, GameStop, and Toys “R” Us, they say the restocks will take place sporadically during the holiday season. They’re just not offering any specific dates in terms of additional shipments. Customers will be provided with updates when shipments are expected.

Game Informer has a lengthy video up for The Jackbox Party Pack 4. Check out 48 minutes of footage with the game’s developers below.

Want something to be excited about? Super Mario Odyssey launches in a month. To promote the game, Nintendo appears to be teaming up with Best Buy with a playable demo. We’re hearing reports that it’s starting to be installed today. We’re unsure if the demo will be available at every single Best Buy in the US, but you might be seeing it at your local store soon.

Thanks to Paul for the tip.

At Wonder Festival earlier this year, one of the new figures revealed was from Kirby: Planet Robobot. Kirby is getting a new figure in his Robobot Armor.

The figure is on display at the All Japan Model and Hobby Show this weekend, and we have a couple of new photos of the product. It’s in the prototype stage, so it’s mostly still devoid of color.

Good Smile will be releasing the figure at some point in the future. More information will be shared later.
