When we last heard about 2064: Read Only Memories Integral for Switch, which was several months ago, the game was targeted for February. Since we’re in February right now and with the game receiving little news, it’s not too surprising to hear that plans have shifted.

2064: Read Only Memories Integral is now set for late March / early April on Switch. Fortunately, it’s not a major delay.

2064: Read Only Memories Integral “is a retrofuturistic take on the point-and-click adventure genre that features a rich mature narrative and unique gameplay challenges hidden within the beautiful interactive pixel scenes.” The Switch version will feature several extras including trailers, art, music, and more in a special bonus “zome”.

Nintendo made a few new announcements for Splatoon 2 last week. New amiibo for Pearl and Marina, the Dark Tetra Dualies weapon, and Goby Arena stage were revealed. We have a handful of additional screenshots showing off Goby Arena below.

Here’s something pretty neat in Bayonetta 2 on Switch. When you use certain amiibo, the message above appears, which looks like a clear reference to Bayonetta’s appearance in Smash Bros for Wii U/3DS. It is apparently not in the original Wii U version.

The first thought people are having is that the message could be teasing an appearance of Rodin in an upcoming Smash Bros. title. That’s probably looking too much into what’s just an Easter egg, but it can be fun to speculate.

In Zelda: Breath of the Wild, the weather and environment around you are more important than ever before. Link goes up against some tough conditions, ranging from the blazing heat to frigid temperatures depending on your location. The weather is also a key element when scaling mountains. When it starts raining, you can bet that climbing will become much more difficult.

Giving players control of the weather was actually something the Zelda: Breath of the Wild team considered, according to Hidemaro Fujibayashi. The game’s director explained to Game Informer this month why it ultimately didn’t make sense in the end: it wouldn’t have been as fun and “would have increased the number of variables in the world.”

Splatoon 2 continued its weapon updates tonight with the addition of the Sloshing Machine Neo. See it in action below.
