A new single battle competition has been announced for Pokemon Sun and Moon, the No Holds Barred competition. The following mystical Pokemon can not be used Mewtwo, Lugia, Ho-Oh, Kyogre, Groudon, Rayquaza, Dialga, Palkia, Giratina, Arceus, Reshiram, Zekrom, Kyurem, Xerneas, Yveltal, Solgaleo or Lunala; however all other mystic Pokemon can be used. You also have the ability to have duplicate Pokemon and duplicate items. Registrations run from August 17th to the 24th and the battles start August 25 and 27th.

Another Pokemon Shuffle update is here. This time we get a new stage featuring Tapu Koko and will last until August 15th. Great Challenge Daily Pokemon are now available with Hoopa, Togekiss, Wigglytuff, Wailord, Keldeo, Greninja and Omastar being the Pokemon this time around. Finally some repeat stages for Goodra, Regice, and Suicune are now in rotation.

A demo of Monster Hunter XX will be available for the Japanese eShop on August 10th. The demo has three quests and will have the ability to play with four players locally. If you have a Japanese account you will be able to check this demo out.

Resident Evil Revelations and Resident Evil Revelations 2 have recently been announced for the Nintendo Switch. There isn’t too much information on the version besides the fact that it will be coming in late 2017.

The newest Fire Emblem Heroes voting gauntlet is now up for players to start participating. You will have a choice between four characters to pick from, the summer variants of Gaius, Frederick, Robin, Tiki, Leo, Xander Corrin and Elise. The event lasts until August 7th.

Moltres started to show up in Pokemon GO Raid Battles today as the newest Legendary Pokemon. Take a look at some footage below.

Nicalis has shown quite a bit of support for Switch thus far. The publisher already shipped The Binding of Isaac: Afterbirth+ and Cave Story+ with even more titles on the way.

As for what lies ahead, Nicalis’ Tyrone Rodriguez teased in a recent interview:

“We have several more games coming out on the Switch this year, some familiar and some brand new. You’ll have to wait and see!”

Nicalis will be bringing Blade Strangers, The End is Nigh, Ittle Dew 2, and Tiny Barbarian DX to Switch. It’ll be interesting to see what else is in store.

Miitomo has been updated with more content. Users will find returning stages with more items.

“Making a splash! Critters of the Deep” is the returning theme. The stages provide the following:

– Starfish hairpin
– Dolphin hood
– Dolphin suit
– Aurora shell
– Clownfish skirt
– Moon jellyfish headdress
– Jellyfish dress
– Moon jellyfish tights

The returning stage will be available until August 3 at 6 PM PT / 9 PM ET.
