Nintendo has released a new update for Code Name: S.T.E.A.M., which was announced during last week’s Nintendo Direct. Version 1.1.0 has one purpose: to speed up alien movement while enemy turns are taking place.

Note that the update takes up 27 blocks of space.

If you’re interested in checking out the official patch notes, read on below (or check out the graphic above).

There are a bunch of additional themes out now in Japan. The lineup includes Nikki, AFTERSCHOOL, U-KISS, Apprentice Witch and Fluffy Friends, Sesame Street, Gale Rabbit Maru, Steel Empire and Order Land. You can find footage of the latest themes above.

Toshio Iwai most notably known for the 2005 DS title Electroplankton, worked on a game in the early 90’s that never saw the light of day. The game was said to be a music composition tool that was to be released along with the SNES mouse, named Sound Factory.

Recently on Ebay someone going by the name KiroBomber bought the prototype and has now released it to the public.
