In Japan, One Piece: Great Pirate Colosseum is out now, and that means footage is starting to surface. View the 2D fighter’s opening below.

Update: This is also available on Amazon in the United States showing the same information (thanks Daniel S).

Original: If you needed any further evidence that Dragon Ball Fusions is being localized, look no further than Amazon Canada. The retailer has the game up on its website along with a December 13 release date (which could be final, but may also be tentative).

We first heard about Dragon Ball Fusions coming west after a listing was found within Brazil’s classification system. And just a few days ago, GameStop started taking in-store pre-orders. An official announcement should be made very soon.

Here’s the information about Dragon Ball Fusions included on Amazon’s Canada:

The free-to-play Digimon Universe: Appli Monsters Cyber Arena is now available in Japan, and Bandai Namco put out a new trailer to celebrate. See it below.

A second commercial is now up for Saiki Kusuo no Psi-nan: Shijou Psi-dai no Psi-nan!?, Bandai Namco’s new 3DS game. Check it out below.

Nintendo Everything was at this year’s Tokyo Game Show! We had a low-key presence at the event, but we did manage to try out several upcoming Japanese 3DS titles. Look for our impressions in the coming days.

One Piece: Great Pirate Colosseum is a 3DS fighting game developed by Arc System Works for Bandai Namco. It will be released soon in Japan on September 21, but there was a demo available at Tokyo Game Show 2016 and we were able to try it out. However, we were limited to CPU battles.

Although One Piece: Great Pirate Colosseum will have many playable and assist characters, not all of them were available in the TGS demo. For example, the only available Straw Hats were Luffy, Sanji, and Franky. One side can either pick two main characters and two assist characters, or substitute the assist character slots for a third main character.

Dragon Ball: Fusions might be Bandai Namco’s worst-kept secret at the moment. Even though it was largely thought that the game would be heading west following a leak from a classification in Brazil, extremely strong evidence has appeared which further backs up that initial finding.

GameStop stores are now taking pre-orders for Dragon Ball: Fusions under the SKU 133501. It looks to be a $30 game, similar to that of last year’s Dragon Ball Z: Extreme Butoden. If we weren’t getting Fusions in North America (and Europe), it probably wouldn’t be in GameStop’s system – and up for pre-order.

Bandai Namco may have an official announcement to make about Dragon Ball: Fusions in the coming days.

In August, Bandai Namco said that the developers of Dragon Ball: Fusions were planning free updates for the game. We now have a few more details about what’s in store.

In the first update due sometime this fall, Fusions will be adding online play. Players can go online with friends and random people, trade, and look up leaderboards.

We had also previously heard about a new stage on the way. This is known as “Jikuukan Radar”, which will be able to pick up on Wi-Fi so long as the feature is turned on through your actual 3DS. Characters to battle will appear here, and you’ll be able to make friends with some rare ones.

Digimon Universe: Appli Monsters is set for December 1 in Japan, Bandai Namco announced today. It’ll cost 5,700 yen at retail, while the eShop version will be sold at a discounted price of 5,130 yen until December 28. Those who pre-order the game at shops between October 8 and October 24 will be given a Super Rare Special Appmon Chip, “Onmon.”

Ahead of Digimon Universe: Appli Monsters, fans will be able to download the free-to-play Digimon Universe: Appli Monsters Cyber Arena from the eShop. The download, slated for September 21, allows save data to be transferred to the full version. Appmon Chips work as well.

Bandai Namco is updating One Piece: Great Pirate Colosseum and Dragon Ball Z: Extreme Butoden in a rather interesting way. The two games, both of which are 2D fighters created by Arc System Works, will allow for cross-play before the end of this year. Players will be able to battle against each other locally or online, according to the One Piece: Great Pirate Colosseum website.

An update is planned for release to enable the functionality in early November. It will be free to all players.
