– Once again, Phoenix’s stage will be set at the Kurain Kingdom
– Apollo’s stage will take place in Japan
– Kurain Kingdom is a country of mystery and faith
– The people follow a “Kurain Religion” which follows the concept of spirits and mediums in their everyday life
– The country is run a queen who is also a medium
– The Kurain Religion is a religion that shares a faith in the spirits of ancestors
– They have a deep connection with mediums

Atlus shared the latest details pertaining to Shin Megami Tensei IV Final during a live stream on Niconico earlier today. The notable information has been rounded up below, courtesy of Siliconera’s translation.
– Not like Shin Megami Tensei IV with the Chaos and Law routes
– It instead will be all “Neutral” but with multiple endings
– Don’t need to have played or completed Shin Megami Tensei IV to enjoy Final
– Some references to the original game that will make players who have played it smile
– The “gauntlet” shown on the protagonist is his smartphone
– The ones worn in Shin Megami Tensei IV could be considered a smartphones as well, but in a different form
– Asahi can be considered the heroine of the game

Last week, the Japanese Hyrule Warriors Twitter account teased news about the upcoming 3DS game. Famitsu followed through by revealing a couple of new characters. We now know that Skull Kid will be playable, and Phantom Ganon will be appearing as a boss.
The mischievous imp Skull Kid uses an ocarina as his main tool. Famitsu describes him as a demon who stole the hero’s ocarina from a parallel world and then placed the curse of the mask upon him. He may be violent and love pranks, but deep in his heart he treasures his friends. Using the ocarina, he fights alongside fairies.

Yesterday, Famitsu revealed that Atlus is developing Shin Megami Tensei IV Final for 3DS. First details about the game have since leaked out of this week’s issue.
Here’s what we know thus far:
General
– Takes place in Tokyo
– Year 203X
– In order to avoid destruction from the war against the gods that suddenly broke out 25 years prior, thick bedrock was made to cover the sky
– This also prevented any contact with those outside
– It wasn’t long until the battle ended, and the people of Tokyo began to fight and murder others for the little amount of supplies and resources that remained
– The people have become ruled over by the angels and demons that stood atop the food chain
– Masashi Doi is working on character designs
– See the likes of Merkabah, Lucifer, and others, including Medusa from the previous game, in their refined forms
– 90% complete
Protagonist (CV: Hiro Shimono)
– Has been spending his days as an apprentice of an organization called the Inhumanity Hunter
– While out on a mission, he takes a surprise attack from a demon, and dies
Mysterious Demon (CV: Shuichi Ikeda)
– Wanders the underworld after the protagonist dies and forms a contract with him
– The protagonist is given a new life and the ability to summon demons
Asahi (CV: Seike Tomoko)
– 15-year-old girl and childhood friend of the protagonist
– Part of the Inhumanity Hunter organization
Navarre (CV: Shintaro Oohata)
– Same Navarre from Shin Megami Tensei IV
– After losing his life for something petty, he meets the protagonist when he wasn’t able to properly go to the afterlife
– Currently has the form of a green body

We went a long while without any news on Monster Strike 3DS, but now we’ve been getting updates pretty regularly. Famitsu shares even more about the game in its latest issue with a new preview.
First, below are details about some of Monster Strike 3DS’ different characters:
Ren Homura
– Has a forward facing and bright personality
– Though appears to be an average boy, has memories of having lived in a Divine Realm
– A protagonist of many mysteries
Aoi Mizusawa
– Ren’s classmate from childhood
– S weeks to reform her own group of monsters that had disbanded
– What does she have to do with Ren’s lost memories?
Oragon
– Self-proclaimed prince of the Monster Realm
– Travels with Ren, came from Sumaho
– Not much is known aside from being a child of dragons
Minami Wakaba
– An airheaded girl who loves her family cafe
– In the same class as Ren
– Always feels cold so dresses to stay warm
Akira Kagetsuki
– Ren’s classmate
– Was once a cool top member of the Strikers, but has recently been distant from the “Monster” group

Thanks to a preview from Nintendo World Report, another round of Zelda: Tri Force Heroes details are available. We’ve rounded up the various information below.
– About a kingdom that is obsessed with fashion
– Kingdom of Hytopia is mostly known for their princess Styla
– Styla loves outfits and stylish looks from all manner of places, and she was adored by many
– A cursed gift from an evil witch made her wear a leotard, which she can’t remove by hand
– The king of the land, King Tuft, is desperate and sents out a call for heroes to come to aid
– Take on the role of one of the new legendary Totem Heroes
– Stop the witch and free the princess from her magic
– Not many cutscenes, outside of a cute opening cinematic
– Not really a reason given why there are three people that look like Link walking about
– Give your character his own name
– Travel to different worlds
– These include Woodlands, Riverside, Volcano, Ice Cavern and Fortress
– Each of the lands has four missions for you to tackle with various items and puzzles playing an essential part
– Players are given an item at the start of a level
– Ranges from a bow to bombs, from a Gust Jar to a Magic Hammer
– As long as the object hasn’t been picked up yet, every player can choose the role they want to fulfill
– Hit enemies and switches in the distance with the bow
– Use the Fire Gloves to melt pillars of ice
– Exploration can’t solely be done with items or fighting enemies with your standard sword
– Work with the group to finish the game
– Need a totem to beat certain enemies or reach obstacles that seem too high to get to
– Margoma fight in the Woodlands is one example of this
– This spinning wheel of doom will hide its eye on top, hidden from the players

– Every level in the game has three Bonus Challenges to uncover and complete
– Complete stages with fewer time or hearts, without a sword or in complete darkness
– Some challenges where you have to stay close to an orb or move swiftly out a Wallmaster’s way
– When using Download Play, there will be Extra Data added to their SD card
– With this, any materials that they collect will be saved for later sessions or if they decide the purchase their own copy of the game
– Within the limits of the Download Play session, you can already earn two new costumes
– Randomly search for people, search or start a friend lobby or use a combo of both for online sessions
– Fairies, which are your lives, can be used up to skip parts of levels

The big piece of Monster Hunter X news coming out of the Tokyo Game Show is the game’s Nyanter Mode. This allows players to go through the game as a Felyne. You can read up a few details concerning the mode below, courtesy of Siliconera.
– Nyanters specialize in movement and various forms of support
– Players can switch into a Nyanter by selecting one of your Palico Felynes at anytime before accepting a quest
– Go as a Nyanter and have your two Palicoes tag alone in single-player
– Nyanters have their own exclusive quests
– They can also play any quest a regular Hunter can
– You can tag up to make a party of four Nyanters with your friends
– No stamina gauge for Nyanters
– Controls are the same as Hunters
– They can also run around with their weapons unsheathed
– You can dig underground to avoid attacks when things get dangerous
– They can do other similar actions as Hunters, such as gathering
– They are faster at it and don’t need to carry around Pickaxes or Bug Nets since they have their own that lasts forever
– There are two acorns on the top-left part of the screen that counts as a couple of extra lives for the Nyanter
– They get KO’d once all Acorns are lost
– Place traps, use flutes, and the new Trampoline

Nintendo World Report has posted fresh details about Momonga Pinball Adventures. You’ll find a summary of the article’s tidbits below.
– Story is about a small momonga (sort of squirrel) who has quite a task ahead of him
– An evil gang of owls appeared in the momonga village and started to raid every inch of it
– All animals have been taken
– Momo was saved by a panda who took him under his wing
– Momo is taught the basic principles and the panda helps him to start the long road ahead
– Various pinball stages
– Scoring points is an aspect of the game
– Your main objective to reach the top of a stage
– Enemies and obstacles will be in your way
