The Wii U version of SteamWorld Heist is already out in Europe, including the physical version. As for North America, we’re still waiting on both.
We should be seeing SteamWorld Collection in the states on November 1. Nintendo’s website also lists an October 20 release date for SteamWorld Heist’s Wii U version in North America. That would be a Thursday, so it’s very plausible.
Stay tuned for official news from Image & Form.

Super Destronaut 2 is an arcade space shooter that may remind you of Space Invaders. Here’s a brief description of the game:
“Collect power-ups to increase your firepower and multiplier coins to reach unbeatable high scores. Shoot those alien butts in Classic, Time Attack, Hardcore or Invaders mode and challenge your friends in Multiplayer mode. If you like classic arcade shooters or ducks, you will love Super Destronaut 2: Go Duck Yourself. PS: Don’t hurt the duck!”
Since Super Destronaut 2 is already approved in Europe, it’ll be out in PAL regions soon as well.

Slime-san was minding its own business, sliming around in a peaceful forest when suddenly…A giant worm appeared and gobbled it up! Now deep within the worm’s belly, Slime-san has to face a decision: Be digested by the incoming wall of stomach acid… Or jump, slide and slime its way through the worms intestines and back out its mouth!
And a rundown of features:
- Incredibly fast-paced and twitch-timing platforming madness!
- No time to stay still as you are chased by a wall of acid at every corner! Run, run, run!
- Being a slime has its perks. Slime your way through cracked walls and surfaces!
- Bust through brittle obstacles or tens situations with a speedy dash move.

FreezeME dev working on Vaccine for Wii U
Posted on 8 years ago by Brian(@NE_Brian) in News, Wii U eShop | 13 Comments
Indie developer Rainy Night Creations has announced Vaccine as its next project. It’s quite the change from the cheery and colorful nature of FreezeME, the studio’s 3D platformer that hit Wii U earlier this year.
Rainy Night Creations has shared the following information thus far:
Find a vaccine for your infected friend before the time runs out, but be aware your friend will relapse sooner or later and you will have to find a new vaccine in a new randomly rebuilt house. Will you be able uncover the mystery to save your friend once and for all!
Vaccine is a new approach on Survival Horrors inspired by those of the 90s era such as Resident Evil or Dino Crisis.Players can choose between the two members of a special bio-hazard rapid response team, each starting with their own unique differential abilities. They are trapped in a strange house populated by dangerous mutated creatures, they will have to find a vaccine for another team member who is infected with a deadly virus.
Unless the players uncover the mystery of the house, every time they bring back the vaccine, the infected team member will relapse and the user will be presented with a new randomly rebuilt house. The players will be able to gain experience points from different actions and use them on the skills they think will be more beneficial, bringing a more tactical approach compared to the games it takes inspiration from.
Vaccine is slated for Q1 2017 on Wii U and other platforms. View the first trailer below.
Thanks to Arison for the tip.

FAST Racing NEO’s soundtrack is out now; pay what you want
Posted on 8 years ago by Matt(@OnePunchMaz) in News, Wii U | 0 comments
FAST Racing NEO was one of the most acclaimed indie games on Wii U in recent years, and a part of that was certainly its energetic soundtrack. If you can’t get enough of the game’s music, you can now buy the entire 80-minute soundtrack online at this link. The minimum price you’ll have to pay is 5$ – but if you want to support developer Shin’en Multimedia, you can pay more if you want to. The soundtrack is DRM free and available as both MP3 and FLAC files. If you’re undecided, you can listen to a 30 second preview of each track as well.
