Nintendo has confirmed via Twitter that the upcoming epilogue featured in Xenoblade Chronicles: Definitive Edition, Future Connected, is set one year after the events of the main game.

Future Connected is a brand new story featuring Shulk and Melia, but no specifics of the epilogue have been shared yet. It was previously revealed that it can be accessed at any point during Xenoblade Chronicles: Definitive Edition.

The Xenoblade Chronicles: Definitive Edition Collector’s Set, which previously sold out on Amazon Germany, is now available again. Consumers can pre-order the special release here. Shipping to the United States isn’t an option, so this one is pretty much just for our friends in Germany.

Original (4/7): The Xenoblade Chronicles: Definitive Edition – Collector’s Set is now available to pre-order from Amazon in a pair of European regions. You can nab it on Amazon UK here as well as Amazon France here.

Note that importing is unfortunately not an option. You may want to use a service such as Forward2Me as a workaround if you live in the United States.

The world of Xenoblade Chronicles: Definitive Edition has a whole lot of environments to explore, and Nintendo is starting to showcase some of these areas with various screenshots. Xenoblade Chronicles: Definitive Edition had a big blowout in this week’s Nintendo Direct Mini. We finally know that the RPG is coming to Switch on May 29, and new information about what’s new for this release was shared. Additional tidbits have since come in as well.

Future Connected is a brand new epilogue created for Xenoblade Chronicles: Definitive Edition. Have you already played the game on another system? Then you’ll be happy to hear that you can access Future Connected immediately – you don’t have to beat the story to access the extra story.

Xenoblade Chronicles: Definitive Edition is launching on Switch in a couple of months following previous releases on Wii and New 3DS. A new comparison video for all three versions can be found below.

The official Japanese website for Xenoblade Chronicles: Definitive Edition has updated with some music tracks from the game. Not only do we get to hear a couple of tracks that have been remastered, but we also get a sample of a new tune made for the Future Connected epilogue. All of the music can be heard in the video below.
