Square Enix ends today’s E3 festivities with a conference of its own. The broadcast will be going live at 6 PM PT / 9 PM ET / 2 AM in the UK / 3 AM in Europe.

Last year’s conference was admittedly light on Switch news aside from a brief Octopath Traveler trailer, but we’ll have to see what happens this time around. At the very least, Square Enix may mention Dragon Quest Builders 2 ahead of its western launch next month. If there’s anything noteworthy, we’ll make a separate post on the site.

Oninaki is the third game from Tokyo RPG Factory. Under Square Enix, the studio previously released I Am Setuna and Lost Sphear.

Over on Twitter, the team showed how Oninaki’s visuals have improved since the initial reveal. Square Enix first announced the RPG during a Nintendo Direct in February.

Back in April, Square Enix announced that Octopath Traveler would be getting additional language support. That promise has been fulfilled today.

Version 1.0.3 for Octopath Traveler is now available. Once installed, Simplified and Traditional Chinese will be supported. No other changes or additions appear to have been made.

A few hours ago, Square Enix announced the location services-based game Dragon Quest Walk for mobile. While we won’t really be covering it here as it’s not overly Nintendo-related, something interesting was said during the game’s announcement event.

According to series executive producer Yuu Miyake, he along with creator Yuji Horii “are currently making preparations on series developments that will connect to XII” – Dragon Quest XII, in other words. Miyake said:

Square Enix filed a Japanese trademark for Collection of Mana earlier this year. Based on that listing, many fans had hoped that the Switch package would finally be localized for the west. There’s now even more evidence of that possibility.

Today, Square Enix picked up another trademark for Collection of Mana. The filing was done this time around in Europe. With E3 2019 right around the corner, perhaps there could finally be news for the west.

Seiken Densetsu Collection first came out in Japan two years ago. It includes Final Fantasy Adventure, Secret of Mana, and Seiken Densestu 3, the latter of which has never made it outside of Japan.
