Katana Zero DLC gameplay video

More than three years after Katana Zero revealed plans for DLC, developer Askiisoft has finally provided a first video look. Today’s footage shows a small slice of the first level.

Katana Zero released on Switch in 2019 and Askiisoft has been tinkering away on the DLC since then. Towards the start of 2020, the developer said the scope had expanded and was three times as big as originally planned. Things expanded even further after that, as in March 2021, we heard that it had increased once again and had become six times bigger than originally planned.

Mario Kart Tour battles

Nintendo has shared details about the next Mario Kart Tour update, which will include the addition of battles.

Battles will be supported in both single-player and multiplayer. It’ll work just like other entries in the series where the goal is to pop your opponents’ balloons.

We also know that the Spotlight Shop is planned where you can exchange rubies for drivers, karts, and gliders. In related news, pipes you can fire by using rubies will be removed.

Bandai Namco has released a new patch for SD Gundam Battle Alliance, which released last week. This update is quite a substantial one, adjusting the stats of certain mobile suits, unlocking level caps, adding in new missions and more.

Azure Striker Gunvolt 3 Epilogue ATEMS

Inti Creates has revealed more details about free and paid content for Azure Striker Gunvolt 3, including a new DLC pack for EX Image Pulses Elise and Asroc plus Epilogue ATEMS.

With the DLC pack, players can get their hands on eleven new Image Pulses. It contains our Skill Image Pulses each of both Gunvolt 1’s Elise and Gunvolt 2’s Asroc, along with three new Passive Image Pulses to change up the gameplay. The content goes live worldwide on September 2, and during the first two weeks following release, it will be free for all players.

Fire Emblem Heroes update 6.9.0

Nintendo and Intelligent Systems have announced a new update for Fire Emblem Heroes, which is going live next week.

New skills will be added for a Legendary and Mythic Hero, new Memento Events are being added to Heroes Journey, and the lineup of Limited-Time Combat Manuals is being updated. That’s along with Aether Raids updates and more.

MLB The Show 22 update 1.14

The team behind MLB The Show 22 is continuing to issue patches, and version 1.14 went live today.

The latest update largely involves bug fixes, including a Switch-specific issue in which a freeze could happen when a controller is detached during a pitch. Play by play commentary fixes have also been implemented.

Melty Blood: Type Lumina update 1.3.3

Another update has been released for Melty Blood: Type Lumina, with players now having access to version 1.3.3.

Today’s update is largely about bug fixes. The game has addressed issues relating to a few characters, systems, modes, and more.

Wii U update 5.5.6

As a small heads up to Wii U owners, Nintendo has just started distribution of a new 5.5.6 firmware update. This goes in line with the version 11.16.0-48 update that also went live on 3DS today.

According to Nintendo’s patch notes, Wii U’s latest firmware involves the following: “Further improvements to overall system stability and other minor adjustments have been made to enhance the user experience.” If you read the patch notes for today’s 3DS update, what’s stated here should look very familiar.

Pokemon Home update 2.0.2

A new 2.0.2 update has gone out for Pokemon Home, though it is currently only being offered on mobile.

Users now have the ability to delete their accounts. A few other issues have also been addressed.

The Centennial Case: A Shijima Story update 1.0.3

Square Enix has readied a new update for The Centennial Case: A Shijima Story, bringing it to version 1.0.3.

A couple of improvements are included – specifically for one of the tutorials and content of the notes in Chapter 5. New control features, adjustments, and fixes are also available.
