Update (1/31): Version 1.1.5 is out now on iOS.

Original (1/30):

The latest update for Animal Crossing: Pocket Camp has dropped on Android. Version 1.1.5 is now available.

Today’s update was released only to address a single issue. According to Nintendo, an issue was fixed “relating to visitors being displayed in the incorrect order.”

Note that this update is only out on Android at present – not iOS.

A new ARMS update will be released tomorrow, Nintendo has announced. The game will be updated to version 5.1.

As usual, Nintendo is being cryptic as to what will be included in the patch. Don’t expect any new fighters, but it sounds like there could be an addition or two. We can at least expect more balance updates.

When the update goes live, we’ll share the news here.

The developers behind Rime are still trying to get the Switch version in order. A meaty patch remains in the pipeline, and the team shared a status update today.

The new update is currently in Nintendo’s hands for approval. Things can now either go in one of two ways. Either Nintendo approves it, or denies it. The latter could potentially happen since the update “is larger than normally permitted”.

Pokken Tournament DX

Pokken Tournament DX’s new update has gone live. Version 1.2.0 has just started distribution.

Oddly, Nintendo’s patch notes only make mention of a couple of things. Compatibility with Battle Pack Wave 1 has been added, along with support for video capture.

At least for now, the patch notes don’t cover any of the many balance changes. We’ll add them in here if Nintendo shares the details, but for the time being, we’ve included the unofficial translation below.

A new update is due out very soon for Minecraft on both Switch and Wii U. The patch will implement a number of fixes, but also adds the Moana Character Pack and Skin Pack 1.

Maintenance will be taking place for Minecraft later today. The patch should be going live during the early part of that period.

For the full patch notes of today’s update, continue on below.

The Nintendo Switch Parental Controls app has received an update, though it only looks to be available on iOS at present. The latest patch is version 1.4.1. Nintendo’s update notes only make mention of bug fixes.

As far as we’re aware, this update has not yet been distributed on Android. Google Play still has Nintendo Switch Parental Controls at version 1.4.0. If that changes, we’ll let you know.

Thanks to Jake for the tip.

Lost Sphear finally made its debut in North America and Europe this week. The launch was accompanied by a day one update. Square Enix didn’t really go into the specifics, only stating that it provides “new equipment and artefacts, a new dungeon, the new Moonlight Battleground mode and much more.” Thankfully, the Japanese website has more information.

For Moonlight Battleground, a new NPC “Transcender of Reason” shows up on the Fading Hill after you’ve cleared the game. Speak with him to be able to have rematches against previous bosses. Their strength levels will be adjusted to the player’s levels, so they will offer challenging battles.

Area 35 has started to release a few updates for Tiny Metal on Steam. In terms of new content, three new skirmish maps have been prepared. A ton of adjustments and improvements have also been implemented.

Also in the works is a multiplayer patch. New features are on the way as well, including new maps and a new arena roster. Console players will be updated to the new version, so this will be reflected soon on Switch.

You can find the full patch notes below. An announcement video for Tiny Metal’s update is also attached.

As we heard earlier today, Pokken Tournament DX is receiving a patch next week. Version 1.2 is on the way, which will include support for video capture. A bunch of changes will also be made to the roster.

EveryDamnDayyy_ was kind enough to translate the patch notes ahead of the update’s release on Wednesday, which we’ve included below. Note that this is not official at this time. When Nintendo puts up the official patch notes, we’ll let you know.

Pokken Tournament DX

A new update for Pokken Tournament DX was announced at EVO Japan today. Next week, the game will be updated to support Switch’s video capture functionality.

Pokken Tournament DX’s patch goes live on Wednesday. Aegislash will be offered as a new paid DLC fighter on the same day, as well as support Pokemon Mega Rayquaza and Mimikyu.
