The Switch itself received a major update today, but it wasn’t the only thing on the console to be patched. Mario Kart 8 Deluxe has also been updated and is now at version 1.3.0.

Today’s update enables video capture compatibility and makes other adjustments, such as Blue Shells no longer hitting the second place player when the first place player hasn’t yet crossed the finish line. We’ve included the full patch notes below.

A new update is now available for Pokemon Duel. The mobile game is at version 4.0.5.

Aside from bug fixes, new figures have been added. Here’s the full breakdown:

– EX Figures: Lunala, Chandelure, Decidueye
– R Figures: Mimikyu, Dartrix
– UC Figures: Litwick, Lampent, Rowlet, Oricori Sensu Style

A new Pumpkin Time Booster has also been added, which are guaranteed to hold Ghost-type Pokemon. You’ll also find a special 10 pack booster with a guaranteed EX or UX drop.

After previously hitting both Wii U and 3DS, Elliot Quest makes the jump to Switch this week. It’s been listed on the eShop, but we’ve officially confirmed with PlayEveryWare that the worldwide release is set for October 19.

Update: Full patch notes added below. Along with badges and recent replays, Nintendo also says that there is “an interloper who has been disrupting the Grand Prix, going after our fiercest competitors.” Issues fixed, and adjustments made to fighters and ARMS as well.


Original: ARMS’ latest update has gone live. Nintendo has started distribution of version 3.2.0 around the world.

We don’t have the full patch notes just yet, but this update should be fairly substantial. Badges have been added as well as a replay list. Nintendo also previously teased some sort of character who looks a lot like Spring Man.

If you’ve purchased R.B.I. Baseball, a new update should be waiting for you. Version 1.0.1. came out this week.

All signs point to the patch being small in nature. An official tweet says that “a few bugs” were addressed.

ARMS version 3.2 will release tomorrow, Nintendo has confirmed. The news was just posted on the game’s Japanese Twitter account.

The new ARMS update adds badges, a replay list feature, and more. Nintendo also teased a character who looks a lot like Spring Man, but hasn’t elaborated further.

As we heard a few days ago, the Switch shoot ’em up Earth Atlantis is getting an update soon. Developer Pixel Perfex shared a few of the details originally, but has since offered the full patch notes.

Pokemon GO

It’s that time once again. Pokemon GO is getting another update, and Niantic is in the process of rolling out the patch. It’ll be version 0.79.2 for Android and 1.49.2 for iOS devices.

Niantic says that the update is to implement bug fixes and performance updates. No new functionality at this time.

Nintendo Switch Parental Controls

The latest update for Nintendo Switch Parental Controls has gone live. Nintendo has issued version 1.4.0 on iOS at the very least, and might be available on Android soon as well.

As for what the update does, don’t expect any new functionality. Nintendo says that today’s update is for bug fixes.
