Update (8/2): The new Pokemon GO update is now officially live.


Original (7/29): Niantic is rolling out another update for Pokemon GO. Players should soon find that version 1.39.1 is available for iOS, and version 0.69.1 for Android.

The latest update mainly addresses a few bugs and issues. It also brings back Spark to appraise Pokemon for Team Instinct Trainers. Players recently noticed that Spark went missing and have been wondering when he would return.

The full Pokemon GO patch notes are as follows:

  • Spark has returned to appraise Pokémon for Team Instinct Trainers.
  • Resolved a motivation decay bug impacting Pokémon with less than 3000 CP.
  • Resolved a bug causing Pokémon GO to freeze after consuming potions too quickly.
  • Resolved a bug causing Pokémon GO to freeze after all 6 Pokémon faint during a Raid Battle.
  • Resolved an issue causing iPhone 6 devices to crash.

The latest update for Super Bomberman R is now available. If you’ve purchased the game, version 1.4.1 can now be downloaded.

Konami says that the new update “fixed the bug in which the player’s movement speed would increase in the Power Zone stage.” Some other small bugs were addressed as well.

Nintendo just sent out a new update for Splatoon 2. The latest version for the game is 1.1.2.

Today’s update addresses an issue with the SplatNet Gear Shop as well as a problem with displaying ranking information. Additionally, Nintendo adjusted the number of points required to fill the special gauge for a few weapons.

New Frontier Days: Founding Pioneers has received a first update. Version 1.1 is available, clocking in at 61MB.

The update primarily consists of three aspects. Arc System Works added in a function that lets you select multiple pioneers at once plus more languages, and balanced the story mode. Full details on the update are below.

A new update has just gone live for Graceful Explosion Machine. If you’ve purchased the game, version 1.1.0 can now be downloaded.

First, Graceful Explosion Machine’s score screen has been redesigned. A new AI system was also created to capture the best part of your run, which is shown on the score screen. Loading should also be nearly twice as fast now.

Vertex Pop says the following about today’s update:

Saber Interactive is putting the final touches on a new update for NBA Playgrounds. Players will have access to new modes, content, and features soon.

First up, NBA Playgrounds is getting a 3-Point Contest mode. The game’s rebounding system has been reworked, and friend invites are planned. Finally, 33 new players are being added.

The update will be live on Switch soon. Hopefully it won’t take nearly as long as the previous patch.

A new update for the Switch Parental Controls is going out. You should soon be able to download version 1.1 on iOS and Android.

When live, you’ll see a number of new additions, including play records for each individual user. Full patch notes are as follows:

– Daily and monthly game time per person
– Daily non-gaming time spent on the console
– Daily time spent with Parental Controls disabled
– Average play times per month
– Days played per month

A new update has just gone out for Super Smash Bros. on Wii U and 3DS. Version 1.1.7 is available on both platforms.

Today’s update does what you would expect. After applying the patch, the Cloud, Corrin, and Bayonetta amiibo will be supported.

Note that after installing version 1.1.7, replays created in version 1.1.5 or earlier will no longer work.

SEGA has announced a new patch for Puyo Puyo Tetris. Upon release, the game will receive balance adjustments as well as stricter penalties for rage-quitters. SEGA intends to have it ready sometime in August.
