Johnny Dynamite made it to North America way back in May 2015. Europe will finally be receiving the digital 3DS game this week. Perhaps the wait will be worth it, as the PAL version will come with an update.

When Johnny Dynamite arrives on the European 3DS eShop on Thursday, players will have access to a new game intro and ending sequence along with six additional levels. Developer Twofivesix implemented some “minor” bug fixes as well. The update will be labeled as version 1.1 – which isn’t out yet in North America by the way.

Update (12/8): The same update is now available in North America and Europe.

Original (11/22): Over in Japan, a new update is available for Animal Crossing: New Leaf. Version 1.5 arrived earlier today.

Today’s patch is small in nature, and is not up in either North America and Europe. It merely addresses an issue with error [004 – 6006] when players downloaded presents/campers. Nintendo also says that there are additional enhancements to improve the user experience.

Nintendo recently made it known that a new update was planned for Miitomo. The time has now come, as version 2.1.0 is out now.

The patch notes are as follows:

– You’ll be able to teach Sidekick Mii characters how to answer questions.
– Sidekick Central will be added. This is a place where you can share your sidekick Mii characters’ answers with other users.
– Certain emoji in your Mii characters’ answers will trigger sound effects.

Finger Gun Games is currently finishing up the first update (version 1.1) for Ohayou! Beginner’s Japanese. It should be ready either this week or next week in North America and Europe.

The update doesn’t add any new content, but makes some improvements and fixes a couple of issues. You can read the full patch notes below.

One of Dragon Ball Fusions’ recent updates in Japan added Goku Black and Future Trunks from Dragon Ball Super. Check out some footage below.

These characters should be coming west early next year, along with online play and other new content.

F-Zero X debuted on the European Wii U Virtual Console last month, but it did so with several issues. Specifically, players encountered problems with the controls. Because of a “deadzone”, moving your vehicle around wasn’t the easiest task.

Nintendo must have heard about the complaints as an update has now been issued. After applying the patch, players have noted that the controls are improved significantly. It may not stand up completely to the original F-Zero X, but navigating around tracks should feel significantly better.

Yesterday we noted that Super Mario Maker for 3DS’s first update, version 1.01, was on the eShop. Strangely, Nintendo already has another update available. Version 1.02 has now replaced the previous patch on the eShop.

The size is exactly the same at 158 blocks (19.75 MB). Also, once again, the update is needed in order to access the Course World and its online features.

Thanks to Jake for the tip.

Super Mario Maker for 3DS received its first update, but following some maintenance several hours ago, a new patch is up for the Wii U version as well. Version 1.45 is now live. It’s small in nature, as Nintendo says the following about it: “A number of issues have been fixed to make for a pleasant playing experience.”

If you intend to pick up Super Mario Maker for 3DS on Friday, you may want to grab the game’s first update from the eShop. Indeed: version 1.01 is already live. So long as you have 158 blocks (19.75 MB) of free space available, you should be able to download it.

Super Mario Maker for 3DS version 1.01 isn’t a minor update. In fact, you’ll need it in order to access the Course World. Without it, you won’t be able to play the Recommended Courses or 100 Mario Challenge modes.

Thanks to jikes10 for the tip.

Stone Shire’s latest patch, version 1.2, is now confirmed for North America this Thursday. It improves the game’s frame rate, removes the water flowing process, and updates/optimizes the lighting. If you’re in Europe, the update should already be available.
