Pokemon Pinball DS details

Did You Know Gaming has managed to uncover new details about the cancelled Pokemon Diamond and Pearl Pinball project for DS.

We first heard about the title in July 2021 as part of an internal Nintendo leak. Fuse, the studio behind Metroid Prime Pinball, was in charge of development. Did You Know Gaming spoke with Matthew Nightingale, who was an artist working on the game.

Chocobo GP Mythril

Square Enix has announced that it is ending support for Chocobo GP in terms of content updates and prize pass levels, and on top of that, sales of Mythril have been discontinued.

The Switch racer just started up Season 5 this week which brought about Midgar as a new track, Croma and Volg as new characters, and more. We have the patch notes here for version 1.4.0 those that missed it.

GrimGrimoire OnceMore release date

NIS America today revealed a final release date for GrimGrimoire OnceMore overseas. In North America, the game will be available for Switch on April 4, 2023. The European launch is planned for April 7.

GrimGrimoire OnceMore is an updated version of the 2007 real-time strategy title. The Switch version first appeared in Japan this past July.

Grim Guardians release date

Today, Inti Creates provided a final release date for Grim Guardians: Demon Purge. The game is heading to Switch on February 23, 2023.

Grim Guardians: Demon Purge is an upcoming 2D side-scrolling action game featuring a pair of demon hunting sisters. We had originally heard about the project back in August.

Risk of Rain Returns

Gearbox Publishing and developer Hopoo Games have unveiled Risk of Rain Returns, a redone version of the original game. It will be available on Switch in 2023.

Risk of Rain Returns features an updated codebase and “expands on the original and implements features and learnings from the smash hit Risk of Rain 2.” There’ll be HD pixel art, original and new music from Chris Christodoulou, tons of balance changes, and more. That’s along with revamped multiplayer, making it easier than ever to play with friends.

The Punchuin

Shin’en, the developer behind FAST RMX and The Touryst, has just announced its latest game for Switch known as The Punchuin. Not only that, but it’s actually available right now.

Pupperazzi

Publisher Kitfox Games and developer Sundae Month have announced that Pupperazzi is making its way to Switch. The game will launch in early 2023, the two sides confirmed today.

Pupperazzi is a dog photography title that first debuted at the start of this year. We have more information about it below.

Pokemon Scarlet Violet Gardevoir location

Some fans will be happy to know that Gardevoir is back in Pokemon Scarlet and Pokemon Violet, and we have information on the location of this creature for players wishing to add one to their collection.

Earlier this month, ESRB ratings for the Final Fantasy I-VI Pixel Remasters appeared online. Today, December 18, marks the 35th Anniversary of the series, and Square Enix have now officially announced that the games will be launching physically and digitally on Nintendo’s console in Spring 2023. Digitally the games will be available to purchase separately or in a bundle, and standard and collector’s editions of the games will be available to purchase physically from the Square Enix Store.

2022 is just about over – aside from a couple of more weeks. But with the year drawing to a close, we’re interested in hearing about what your favorite game that released over the past twelve months.

Despite being in its fifth year, Switch still had much to offer. Looking strictly at what we saw from Nintendo, the company published Pokemon Legends: Arceus, Kirby and the Forgotten Land, Triangle Strategy, Nintendo Switch Sports, Kirby’s Dream Buffet, Mario Strikers: Battle League, Fire Emblem Warriors: Three Hopes, Live A Live, Xenoblade Chronicles 3, Splatoon 3, Bayonetta 3, and Pokemon Scarlet / Violet. Third-parties filled in with titles such as Mario + Rabbids Sparks of Hope, Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Shredder’s Revenge, Digimon Survive, Shovel Knight Dig, Tinykin, Tunic, AI: The Somnium Files – nirvanA Initiative, Sonic Frontiers, and Dragon Quest Treasures. We’d also be remiss if we didn’t mention ports such as Persona 5, NieR: Automata, Portal, Tactics Ogre: Reborn, and 13 Sentinels: Aegis Rim.
