It looks like TY the Tasmanian Tiger HD will be available physically on Switch later this year. In a collaboration between developer Krome Studios and U&I Entertainment, the game is gaining a worldwide physical release that will be coming to retailers on October 15, 2021.

Additionally, the Switch is getting an exclusive bundle that will include: the physical version of TY the Tasmanian Tiger HD, a digital download for TY the Tasmanian Tiger 2: Bush Rescue HD, and a collectible boomerang-shaped USB with bonus digital content.

This will all be coming to retailers yet to be listed, so keep an eye out for further details regarding purchasing options.

Asura’s Blinding Light has been added to the Rise of the Sinister Dominion in Dragalia Lost. Completing this quest rewards players with materials that can be used to unlock sixth and seventh wyrmprint slots for their shadow-attuned Agito weapons. There are also new wyrmprints up for grabs too.

Also live now is the second part of the Toll of the Deep facility event. This event continuation adds on to the story, gives more quests, and awards new treasure trade rewards. This part of the event will be live until July 18, 2021 at 10:59pm PT.

It looks like NIS America is recruiting some outside talent to bring The Legend of Heroes: Trails to Azure and The Legend of Heroes: Trails from Zero to the west. The fan translation group The Geofront announced that they would be partnering with NIS America on the English release of these games and that their fan translations would be the basis for the official English translation releasing in 2022 and 2023.

The full statement from The Geofront is included below:

Ys IX: Monstrum NOX has received a new Japanese trailer highlighting the protagonist Adol. This video gives a look at some of Adol’s gameplay and also lists his voice actor (with a few voice lines).

Check out the full trailer below.

Ys IX: Monstrum NOX releases on Switch on July 6, 2021.

Dragalia Lost’s newest update is out now (version 2.9.0) and it adds a few accessibility features. Included in these features is an option to adjust anti-aliasing, camera shaking with attacks, and the Trials of the Mighty schedule accessible from the app.

For the full list of additions, check out the full patch notes below.

The demo for Monster Hunter Stories 2: Wings of Ruin has gone live on the Nintendo Switch eShop. This demo will let players transfer their save progress to the full game when it releases in July. It requires 2.8 GB of space on the Switch and, unfortunately, there will be no multiplier in this trial version.

However, for those who want to get a hands-on gameplay preview of the game and its story, the demo is a great way to get started. Download it here and the full game will launch on July 9, 2021.

The story event The Star of the Contest is live now in Pokemon Masters EX. This event features the trainers Dawn, Wallace, and Fantina, and special prizes can be earned from the Prize Box after completing missions for Prize Coins. This event will be live until July 7, 2021 at 10:59pm PT.

A Training Area Reward Boost Rally is also live until June 29 at 10:59pm PT.

It looks like Metroid: Samus Returns is not the only Metroid game that is getting a boost in sales from the recently announced Metroid Dread. The Wii U Virtual Console is also seeing its own Metroid boom, as Metroid: Zero Mission sits at number 1 on the best sellers list and Metroid Fusion ranks at number 2. Even Metroid Prime: Trilogy is coming in at number 4 on that list of best sellers.

This is no doubt due to the hype behind Metroid Dread being announced at E3 2021, and it shows a trend with the Metroid: Samus Returns rising in the sales charts on 3DS. We’ll see if the trend continues leading up to Metroid Dread’s October 8 release.

The beta test for Pokemon UNITE is live now in Japan, meaning players can download the game for the Switch and play it during the Network Test period. This test is live from June 24 to 26 in Japan and the software can be downloaded from the eShop with a Japanese Nintendo account. The entire file size of the game is 1020MB and it can be played in handled, tabletop, or docked mode.

There doesn’t seem to be any beta coming for Switch in other regions (there was some mobile tests for other regions, but no Switch tests), so this is the final chance to try out the game early before it releases in July. Players of any residence can try it out via the Japanese eShop (with a Japanese Nintendo account), so feel free to try it out if interested.
