Kombinera gets April 7 release date

When Kombinera was announced for Switch a few weeks ago, we knew the release date was planned for sometime next month. Today, Atari confirmed that the game will be launching on April 7, 2022.

We have new information about Coromon, the upcoming modern monster taming game, thanks to publisher Freedom Games and developer TRAGsoft with the two companies sharing information about a built-in “Nuzlocke” Mode, accessibility difficulty options, cross-save, multiplayer, and more.
For the “Nuzlocke” mode, players are given a strict ruleset. This includes having only one Coromon per area that is catchable, no running from battles, no teleporting items, and after a creature faints in battle, it doesn’t wake back up.

Original (3/19): For the past few days, the Wii Shop Channel has been experiencing major issues. Right now it seems impossible to access the digital store at all.
At startup, you’ll likely be presented with what’s more or less a blank screen. Sit there long enough and you may then encounter an error code as well. Unfortunately, there’s nothing that can be done other than returning to the home menu manually.

Turn-based strategy game Kaiju Wars coming to Switch

Publisher Klabater and developer Foolish Mortals Games have announced Kaiju Wars, a 2D pixel art turn-based strategy game. Switch will be getting the title sometime in 2022.
Kaiju Wars has players taking on an infestation as the outclassed military. A chief scientist is working on an anti-monster serum, but since it’s not quite ready yet, the monsters will need to be kept at bay.
