Wave Break launches on Switch in June

Wave Break, the arcade-style “skateboating” game announced for Switch back in March, has secured a final release date. Funktronic Labs announced today that the title is on track for June 11.

Outright Games, Universal Games, and Digital Platforms today announced Fast & Furious: Spy Racers Rise of SH1FT3R, the first video game inspired by the Netflix original series. The action racing game features voice talent from the series, online multiplayer races, and more.

Nintendo today announced a new partnership with PlayVS that will make Super Smash Bros. Ultimate and Splatoon 2 officially recognized varsity athletics at participating high schools. Both titles will be added to the official PlayVS lineup for the Fall 2021 High School season, allowing teams around the country to compete against each other in online matches. The season begins on September 20.
Also worth noting is that Mario Kart 8 Deluxe will be joining the action as well. That game will join the PlayVS roster for the Spring 2022 High School season early next year.

Puzzle platformer Super Magbot hitting Switch in June

Team17 and Astral Pixel have announced that Super Magbot, a new puzzle platformer, will be appearing on Switch next month. A release is planned for June 22.
Those that are interested in the title can try out a new demo on the eShop. It provides access to the first fifteen levels and a set of tougher levels from later in the game.
