Neo: The World Ends with You

Square Enix has shared an official announcement for Neo: The World Ends With You, which was just announced a few minutes ago.

Neo: The World Ends With You

Square Enix has just announced Neo: The World Ends With You, a follow-up to the original The World Ends with You. A release is planned for Summer 2021 worldwide on Switch.

Unlike the original title, Neo: The World Ends with You is a 3D game. Revealed characters include Rindo, Fret, Nagi, and Minamimoto. Shibuya is again the featured setting.

Doom - Game & Watch Super Mario Bros.

Doom is now running on the Game & Watch: Super Mario Bros., following some modding work done by YouTuber stacksmashing.

The device was hacked last week, allowing custom code to run. stacksmashing now has the first Doom game running, though some tweaks were made. As it’s a work in progress, some textures were removed and the resolution has been paired back a bit.

Ahead of its release this week, Tracks: Toybox Edition has received a new batch of footage. Take a look at the gameplay below.

Chronos: Before the Ashes

Chronos: Before the Ashes has received a new trailer that explains what the action RPG is actually about. Have a look at the video below.

Original (11/22): This week’s UK software sales are in, including the debut of Hyrule Warriors: Age of Calamity. Launch sales were 324 percent higher than Hyrule Warriors: Definitive Edition, though were 43 percent lower than Zelda: Link’s Awakening. Of course, Hyrule Warriors isn’t a traditional Zelda game.

Switch had a good week with with many games seeing increases. These include Animal Crossing: New Horizons (up 36 percent week-over-week), Mario Kart 8 Deluxe (up 39 percent), Minecraft (up 47 percent), and Super Mario 3D All-Stars (up 2 percent). Switch boxed game sales rose 52 percent week-on-week overall.

Animal Crossing: New Horizons

Thanks to the latest issue of the Nintendo Magazine, we have new data pertaining to Switch sales in Japan. Nintendo actually revealed the system’s best-selling games of the year so far through October.

Today, Square Enix provided an update on The World Ends with You: The Animation. It’s now confirmed to debut in April 2021.

A new key visual for the show was also released, which we have above. A second trailer for the anime can be found below as well.

Monster Hunter Rise

It’s time for the latest Famitsu’s most wanted games chart. This week, Monster Hunter Rise holds strong at #3 and Hyrule Warriors: Age of Calamity ends its run at #5.
