Pokemon Sword/Shield - The Crown Tundra

New details about The Crown Tundra in Pokemon Sword and Pokemon Shield have been revealed. During the latest episode of Pokenchi, information was provided about Dynamax Adventures.

Here’s the full rundown:

A Short Hike

Following its launch last year, the adventure game A Short Hike released on Switch. Nintendo Everything spoke with Adam Robinson-Yu to discuss the project’s creation and more.

As part of our talk, Robinson-Yu addressed a number of topics, including how A Short Hike came to be, other games he was inspired by (which included Zelda: Breath of the Wild), the distinct art style, and whether or not a sequel could happen down the road. We also talked about the new Switch version and potential support for the console going forward.

Here’s our full discussion:

There’s a bit of additional news stemming from WonHobby Gallery 2020 Autumn. Lyndis, who originates from Fire Emblem, is now getting her own 1/7th scale figure.

Intelligent Systems is involved with production of the figure, but that’s really all that’s been confirmed at present. There’s no word on a release window at this time.

Source

It’s that time once again. Nintendo leaks have sprung up for what feels like the umpteenth time, and it’s possible that there could be big news to follow. If you haven’t been keeping track of the various leaks over the past several months, we suggest visiting this page and this page.

As for today’s leak, reports have surfaced of a full Pokemon Sun and Moon repository coming online dating from 2014 to 2017. There are also files for the RVT-NDEV (a Wii development system) and three zip files labeled as “ios-releases”. We’ll have to wait and see what sort of discoveries can be gleamed, but there are already some interesting Pokemon findings.

Kalos Cap Pikachu

The latest Pikachu distribution for Pokemon Sword and Pokemon Shield is now live. This time around, players can get their hands on the Kalos Cap version of the creature.

Follow the steps below to claim Kalos Cap Pikachu:

Kamen Rider: Memory of Heroez

Kamen Rider: Memory of Heroez arrives on Switch later this month. While it’ll only be offered in Japan and Asia, the situation could actually be much worse.

Like a number of other Bandai Namco titles, Kamen Rider: Memory of Heroez will fully support English thanks to its release in Asia. That means even though a western version isn’t in the cards (at least not yet), importing is very much an option.

You can pre-order Kamen Rider: Memory of Heroez ahead of its release on October 29 here. It’ll fully work on any Switch system and can be played entirely in English.

Update (10/17): Amazon UK has opened pre-orders for the Monster Hunter Rise and its collector’s edition here.

Original (10/13): The Nintendo UK store has now opened up pre-orders for Monster Hunter Rise. As part of that, you can reserve the collector’s edition.

The Monster Hunter Rise Collector’s Edition includes a physical copy of the game, Deluxe Kit DLC Pack download code, a Magnamalo amiibo, a “Kamura Mark” pin badge and a sticker pack.

You can pre-order Monster Hunter Rise on the Nintendo UK store here.

Cloudpunk

Cloudpunk made it to Switch this week, but not without some controversy. Some have taken notice that screenshots shown on the eShop aren’t entirely representative of how it looks on Nintendo’s console. There’s also been talk of the frame rate struggling a bit.

Merge Games, the publisher of Cloudpunk, has now issued a lengthy statement about the game. The company says it’s working on a patch to improve stability and performance as well as to address a quest issue.

As for Switch, Merge apologized “to the community who feel misled by the lack of parity between Switch and other platforms,” explaining that “this version has been difficult to optimize due to the system’s technical limitations”. The good news is that Merge will continue to put in work to make the Switch version “as close as possible to the other platforms”.

The full statement reads:

Othercide

The tactical RPG Othercide has been updated to version 1.2.0.2. Players can now access a new Dream Mode, which “adds new elements aimed towards providing a more forgiving experience for inexperienced players, while keeping the overall game feel lethal and impactful.” Several fixes are also included.

Below are the full patch notes:

Clea

The eShop listing has provided a release date for Clea, a skill-based survival horror adventure game for Switch. It’ll be out digitally on October 30, the page confirms.

We have the following overview and trailer for the game:
