Layton's Mystery Journey DX

Back in February, Layton’s Mystery Journey: Katrielle and the Millionaires’ Conspiracy Deluxe Edition was rated in Germany. It was a strong sign that Level-5 has plans to bring the Switch game to North America and Europe.

More evidence has since surfaced pointing in that direction. Layton’s Mystery Journey: Katrielle and the Millionaires’ Conspiracy – Deluxe Edition has now been rated by the ESRB as well. Given these classifications, it seems like it’s only a matter of time until Level-5 makes an official announcement and the overseas release takes place.

Update (4/26): Pre-orders are now open. The various options can be found on Limited Run Games’ website (here.

Original (4/22): Limited Run Games will offer a physical version of Lumines Remastered, the company has announced. Pre-orders open this Friday at 7 AM PT / 10 AM ET. Fans can reserve a copy until May 10.

Another game has joined the lineup of games to support cross-play between platforms. NBA 2K Playgrounds 2, which launched last October, now supports the functionality. Switch players can go up against those on Xbox One and PC.

NBA 2K Playgrounds 2’s latest update also adds new content. The team has brought in a new Mars Playground, new outfits, and court editor items.

Mortal Kombat 11

Mortal Kombat 11 launched this week, but it hasn’t been entirely smooth sailing. Players have taken issue with some features of the game such as Towers of Time, particularly that it was too difficult and unfair. NetherRealm Studios has been looking to address the situation with hot fixes and patches.

NetherRealm has confirmed that two Switch updates are in the works. One of these, which should be out within the next couple of days, will involve character tuning to reduce difficulty in Tower of Time. The second patch will reduce AI difficulty and provide players with a thank you gift.
