Bad North’s first update is live on Switch. A number of bugs have been fixed with version 1.01, along with a “severe framerate drop” that could take place in a few locations.

The full patch notes are as follows:

Planet Alpha

Planet Alpha is out today on Switch. We have the official launch trailer, which you can watch below.

Forgotton Anne was announced for Switch earlier today, though only for Japan. Thankfully, Square Enix Collective has followed up with a quick announcement for the west as well.

Forgotton Anne is launching worldwide in 2019. When it does, the story-driven adventure will cost $19.99 / £15.99 / €19.99. However, there will be a 10% discount for two weeks.

Here’s some information about Forgotten Anne:

The story-driven adventure, set in the beautifully hand-crafted 2D cinematic Forgotten Lands, launched on console and PC back in May. Its forthcoming release on Nintendo Switch means it’ll soon be available on all three major consoles, alongside the PlayStation®4 entertainment system and Xbox One family of devices, including the Xbox One X.

Forgotton Anne reveals the hidden dimension where all mislaid items from the human world – the odd socks, the lost letters, the missing toys – are sent to linger. It’s the job of the Forgotlings – creatures formed out of all of these missing items – to help the trapped Anne and Master Bonku find their way home.

Valkyria Chronicles 4 is slated for September 25. Once the game is out, throughout the rest of the year, DLC will be available for purchase.

Those who pick up Valkyria Chronicles 4 on launch day will be able to download the Japanese Voice Pack. Also, those who nab the “Memoirs from Battle” Premium Edition can gain instant access to “A United Front with Squad 7” and “Edy’s Advance Ops”.

All-Star Fruit Racing

Before the launch of All-Star Fruit Racing, PQube and 3DClouds.it promised that the Switch version would be updated with online support. That has happened today with version 1.01, available to download now.

After applying the update, All-Star Fruit Racing will allow for matchmaking with random racers online and creating custom lobbies with friends. Local area network play is included as well.

Many Switch owners are anticipating the next system update that should arrive close to the launch of Nintendo Switch Online. That hasn’t happened yet, though Nintendo has updated its previous console.

Indeed: a new system firmware update is live for Wii U. According to Nintendo, version 5.5.3 makes improvements to system stability and usability.

Windjammers 2

Windjammers 2 was announced for Switch not too long ago. There hasn’t been too much information floating around, but a very early version was playable at PAX West 2018.

Two characters were playable in the Windjammers 2. The slow but powerful Wessel was included along with a new character who sacrifices strength for speed.
