Sonic the Hedgehog

SEGA and Paramount Pictures have made the new Sonic the Hedgehog movie official. The film will debut in the United States on November 15, 2019, with other territories to follow.

Neal H. Moritz (Fast and Furious series) from Original Film Inc. will be producing. Jeff Fowler will be directing. Also on board is executive producer Tim Miller (director of Deadpool and owner of animation and CG production company Blur Studio).

Slime-san’s big update can now be downloaded on Switch. Version 1.1 is highlighted by the addition of the brand new Blackbird’s content campaign, free of charge. It adds new levels, a boss fight, new target more challenges, and more.

Other new features have also been added as part of Slime-san’s latest update. The full patch notes, plus a trailer for the Blackbird’s campaign, can be found below. If you haven’t purchased Slime-san yet, you can partake in a 30% discount on the eShop.

Poisoft is bringing a new game to Switch next week. According to the European eShop, Poisoft Thud Card is scheduled for March 1.

Yesterday, Damascus Gear: Operation Tokyo was confirmed for release in Japan next week via an eShop listing. It’s also coming west next week, the European eShop shows. The launch is scheduled for March 1.

Damascus Gear: Operation Tokyo is a mech-action RPG. We have an updated English overview and trailer below – we’re slightly concerned by the lack of spaces shown for character dialogue.

The Legendary Pokemon Celebration continues in March. Today, The Pokemon Company revealed details about the next distribution for Pokemon Ultra Sun / Ultra Moon / Sun / Moon focusing on Heatran and Regigigas.

In North America, both Legendary Pokemon will be offered through the Pokemon Trainer Club Newsletter. Note that you’ll need to be signed up by March 1.

Outright Games is partnering with Nickelodeon on Nick’s animated preschool series PAW Patrol. PAW Patrol: On a Roll, developed by Spin Master Entertainment, is due out on Switch this fall.

We currently have the following information:

PAW Patrol follows the adventures of a pack of heroic rescue pups–Chase, Marshall, Rubble, Skye, Rocky, Zuma, Everest and Tracker–who are led by a tech-savvy boy named Ryder. Together they work hard to protect the Adventure Bay community believing no job is too big, no pup is too small! The series features a curriculum that focuses on citizenship, social skills and problem-solving.

In Outright Games’ PAW Patrol: On a Roll, players join Ryder and all eight PAW Patrol Pups for 16 exciting rescue missions. Help each pup use their unique abilities to rescue friends and keep their community safe. Jump into eight awesome Adventure Bay locations, including Farmer Yumi’s Farm, Jake’s Mountain, a desert canyon, under the waves, and more. The game’s fun puzzle-platforming action is “PAW-fect” for kids of all ages.

PAW Patrol: On a Roll will be available for Switch in September.
