A tweet from Netflix spread online after one person was told that there are no plans for the service on Switch. However, a spokesperson has now offered a bit of a different statement.

Netflix’s official comment is the following: “We are still exploring the opportunity with Nintendo, but don’t have definitive plans to share at this time.” We’re also hearing that Netflix will send an update with a similar message on @Netflixhelps.

You’d have to think that, in due time, Netflix will land on Switch. It’s just a matter when.

In Japan, Gust has announced a ton of DLC for Atelier Lydie & Suelle: Alchemists of the Mysterious Painting. Players will be able to purchase content featuring music from other Atelier games, a collaboration with Nights of Azure 2, a boss battle against Sophie, and more.

Coinciding with the DLC news, a 1.01 update has been issued. This increases the level cap and more.

Mercenaries Saga Chronicles is already available in Japan. As far as the western release goes, Circle Entertainment has now confirmed a February launch.

Mercenaries Saga Chronicles bundles all three entries in the series into one package. Only the first game has been distributed on mobile until now, while the latter two previously came to 3DS. Improvements have also been made for the Switch release.

Super Chariot

The 2D platformer Chariot has made it to several platforms over the years, including Wii U. Now it’s planned for Switch as well.

Microids will be publishing Chariot on Switch as “Super Chariot” later this year. It’s the same game as before, but with the Royal Gadget Pack DLC included.

Snake Pass was one of the earlier games to hit the eShop last year. By all accounts, the title did very well. Thanks to Snake Pass’ success, Sumo Digital is sticking with the concept – and it looks like we can expect something early this year.

Ratalakia Games is partnering with Rotten Mage on a new game for Switch. At some point this year, Spacejacked will be heading to the eShop.

Spacejacked offers “super fast-paced arcade tower defense” gameplay. It’ll be your mission to defend a spaceship against aliens who hope to overrun the place.

Epic Loon

The quirky physics platformer Epic Loon will release on Switch, Ukuza has announced. It’s planned for Q2 of this year.

Alongside the news about a Switch version, Ukuza prepared a new trailer for its project that offers a look at the game’s story, characters, and gameplay. Footage is included showing off the four-player co-op and “battle” modes and more.
