Ahead of its February 8 release date, Aegis Defenders has received a new trailer. You can watch the video below.

You’ll notice that the trailer confirms that Shovel Knight is joining the game. Separately, GUTS Department has confirmed that split Joy-Con local multiplayer will be supported, allowing players to use a single controller as part of the drop-in at anytime cooperative play.

PixARK, an open world voxel-based sandbox survival game, is in development for Switch. Snail Games announced a release for later in 2018 on Nintendo’s console today.

PixARK is apparently set in the same world as ARK: Survival Evolved. The game features single-player and online multiplayer modes, procedurally generated worlds, a Creative Mode that allows players to construct whatever they can imagine, and more.

Wild Guns Reloaded was just announced for Switch a short while ago. Natsume has since followed up with a few additional details.

On Switch, Wild Guns Reloaded will have some new features. This includes new game modes, including Beginner Mode, in which players will have unlimited lives. You’ll also be able to partake in Boss Rush: Time Attack mode where players take on all the bosses in the game, one right after the other.

Two prominent Switch games from 2017 will be receiving spotlights at this year’s Game Developers Conference. Event organizers announced today that Splatoon 2 and ARMS will have their own sessions hosted by Hisashi Nogami and Kosuke Yabuki respectively.

During the session for “Splatoon and Splatoon 2: How to Invent a Stylish Franchise with Global Appeal” Nogami “will share his experiences working with a design team whose goal was to create a game that was novel, yet easy to grasp and riveting to play.”

Dead Cells has been announced for consoles, and the game is coming to Switch. The acclaimed roguelike doesn’t have a release date, but is expected later this year.

Orignial: Limited Run Games has revealed its next release for Switch. The company is teaming up with Tribute Games to bring Flinthook to Switch. Even better, it will have a physical version.

Flinthook is a fast action-platformer with roguelike elements. We’ve attached some additional information and a trailer below.

Wild Guns Reloaded is coming to Switch, Natsume has confirmed. The company just passed along the news on Twitter:


Wild Guns Reloaded was outed for Switch last week thanks to a rating in Taiwan. This is the first time we’re hearing about it officially.

Square Enix will soon be bringing out a remake of Secret of Mana. At least for now, the game won’t be offered on Switch. That doesn’t mean Square Enix isn’t considering it, however.

Producer Masaru Oyamada reiterated to USgamer that development on the Secret of Mana remake began before Switch was announced. Square Enix was later “very surprised to see the amount of demand and feedback we received for a potential Switch version.” Although there are no promises, Oyamada said the team “will make an effort to see what is feasible in the future”.
