Niantic implements new anti-cheating measure in Pokemon GO, disabled after fans quickly find a workaround
Posted on 7 years ago by Brian(@NE_Brian) in Mobile, News | 10 Comments
Pokemon GO’s latest update went live this week. It was primarily intended to get the game ready for Gen III Pokemon, but it also included a new anti-cheating measure aimed at those using “spoofing” apps.
Unfortunately for Niantic, things did not go as planned. Players quickly managed to bypass the anti-cheating measure. When we say quickly, we mean quickly. It took under an hour for the method to be defeated, prompting Niantic to disable it entirely.
How will Niantic respond from here? The company will likely try its best to continue going after those it deems are cheaters. At least thus far, Niantic is having a very difficult time on that front.

The Flame in the Flood Switch tech analysis, PS4 comparison
Posted on 7 years ago by Brian(@NE_Brian) in Switch eShop, Videos | 0 comments
The Flame in the Flood recently made it to Switch. With the game having also been published on other platforms, Digital Foundry decided to see how the Switch version holds up.
Similar to other systems, The Flame in the Flood runs at an uncapped frame rate on Switch. That can lead to gameplay that isn’t always smooth. However, the title appears to be fairly comparable to the PlayStation 4 edition.
