Nyamyam done working on Tengami for Wii U, lot check and age ratings next
Posted on 10 years ago by Brian(@NE_Brian) in News, Wii U eShop | 0 comments
Nyamyam has finished developing the Wii U version of Tengami. Next on tap for the studio is Nintendo’s lot check and age ratings for the game. Once that’s complete, we’ll hopefully hear about a release date.
Here’s the latest on Tengami straight from Nyamyam:
The version is finished (yay!!!) and we are preparing to go into Lotcheck, Nintendo’s certification process that is required for all games before they are allowed to go on sale. Before that can happen we have to get age ratings for Tengami though. The game is with the various rating organizations around the globe and it is really just a matter of waiting now. The process can take up 3 weeks and there is unfortunately not much we can do to speed it up.

Update: There might be more to this update than originally thought. Check out this interesting tweet from developer Syrenne McNulty:
@Wario64 I can't say what, but there's absolutely something more in there. It's readying for something.

Nintendo has released a new system update for 3DS, bringing the firmware up to version 8.0.0-18. It’s nothing too major though – Nintendo’s website states that it makes “Further improvements to overall system stability and other minor adjustments” in order “to enhance the user experience”.
Note that you’ll need to download today’s firmware in order to access the 3DS eShop.

Itagaki not worried about Devil’s Third finding an audience on Wii U
Posted on 11 years ago by Brian(@NE_Brian) in News, Wii U | 35 Comments
Devil’s Third may not be the traditional kind of game that we’re used to seeing on Nintendo platforms – not to mention the type of game that Nintendo typically publishes – but creator Tomonobu Itagaki isn’t worried that his game won’t find an audience on Wii U.
Speaking with Canada.com, Itagaki mentioned that he’s already seen comments from fans stating that they’ll purchase a Wii U just to play Devil’s Third, and he believes that “gamers are the ones who make the future.”

Ludosity has wrapped up work on the European release of Ittle Dew. The game will arrive by August, the developer said in a blog post shared last week.
Ittle Dew’s European version will include a few changes from the original US release, which will come to North America in the form of a patch. There is no longer stuttering during saving and sound will now come from the GamePad. A few small bug fixes and polish are implemented as well.
