While we did not really get any Pokemon Sun & Moon news out of this month’s CoroCoro, we did get something: Magearna, the new Pokemon that was revealed a while ago, has been confirmed to be a Steel/Fairy type. Many suspected it would have this typing due to its appearance, but it’s nice to have official confirmation.

Update: In slightly related news, here’s an update on the Pokemon Elections pertaining to the movies from Serebii:

For the Pokémon Elections, announced last month, it is confirmed that the distribution Pokémon at the movie will be the winner. To enter, you need to get a card when prebooking the ticket and then send your vote in before May 8th. The winner will be announced in June and then distributed at the movie

In last month’s issue of CoroCoro, the magazine announced that its coverage of Pokemon Sun & Moon would start with this month’s issue. The first partial scan of said issue has come out and sadly, it doesn’t reveal much at all. In fact, it mostly seem to tease next month’s issue, where apparently the game’s covers will be revealed.

That said, we don’t have any full scans yet so they might still hold some new info, but I personally wouldn’t count on too much being revealed this month if they’re even saving the covers (and thus the first look at any Pokemon) for the next issue. Nonetheless, we will keep you updated should any other interesting news come out of this month’s issue.

Scans of this month’s issue of CoroCoro are starting to leak and one of them concerns the next mainline Yo-kai Watch game. Yo-Kai Watch 3 was already announced a while ago, but thanks to the scans we now know that the game will be released in Japan on July 16th. Furthermore, like many recent Yo-kai Watch games, it will be released as two versions: Yo-kai Watch 3 Sushi and Yo-kai Watch 3 Tempura.

This week has a lot of updates for Pokémon Shuffle, all running until April 26th on both 3DS and mobile.

First, there is an escalation battle against Zygarde in its 50% form. Facing Zygarde will have you leveling up, with each level granting a new reward (Exp Booster S at Level 30, Exp Booster M at 40, Mega Speedup at 50, Exp Booster L at 70, Level Up at 90, and Raise Max Level at 100).

Furthermore, Landorus (Therian Forme) and Manaphy are added, with the former being an all new stage.

Finally, there is a repeat run of a Daily Pokémon Challenge. This will see you facing different Pokémon every day, on repeat, until the cycle ends on April 26th. These Pokémon will start with Girafarig, before moving onto Kecleon, Shuckle,Relicanth, and Spiritomb.

Natsume tackled topics about the 3DS (why no Harvest Moon: Seeds of Memories, series and support for the system in general) and NX (not much to say currently). For the latest three questions and answers, head past the break.
