If the latest rumors are to be believed, a LEGO Zelda Great Deku True set will be arriving later in 2024.
1414falconfan, an accurate leaker within the LEGO community, posted the news on social media today. It’s claimed that the set will release this September. 2,500 pieces will apparently be included.

Nintendo responds to Noto Peninsula earthquake with donation, free repairs

Nintendo has announced that it’s responding to the recent Noto Peninsula earthquake with both a donation and free repairs.
With the donation, Nintendo will be sending 50 million yen to the Japanese Red Cross. As for repairs, those in areas impacted by the earthquake can have their products fixed for free. This will last for six months in a total.
Smash Bros. Ultimate Sora amiibo release date set for February

December 6: On social media, Nintendo just announced the final release date for the Super Smash Bros. Ultimate amiibo. The figure arrives on February 16, 2024.
Sora marks the end of the Smash Bros. amiibo line. Once this figure is out, every character in the game will have received their own figure. Nintendo had already released a bunch when Smash Bros. for Wii U and 3DS were around and then continued things with Ultimate. Even all of the DLC fighters were given amiibo.

My Nintendo adds WarioWare: Move It magnets in North America

Tying in with the launch of WarioWare: Move It towards the end of last year, My Nintendo just added in a new set of magnets. Currently the news is for North America.
You’ll be getting an 8″x8″ magnet sheet here. Wario, Ashley, Red, 9-Volt, Orbulon, and Mona are all featured characters.

Rumor: Nintendo “deep in conversation” with multiple studios about making games based on its franchises

According to a report from GamesIndustry, Nintendo has been exploring partnerships with new studios that will make games based on its IPs.
This in itself is nothing new. Nintendo’s partnerships with third-parties have been ongoing for many years such as MercurySteam taking on 2D Metroid, WayForward handling the Advance Wars remakes for Switch, and even lending the Zelda IP to Brace Yourself Games for Cadence of Hyrule. However, GamesIndustry reports that three studios are now “deep in conversation around making games based on Nintendo brands.”

December 30: The LEGO Super Mario line isn’t showing any signs of slowing down, and yet another product is being readied with the Bowser’s Muscle Car Expansion Set. It’s also coming sooner than you might think.
As seen in Super Mario 3D World, the set contains a brick-built figure of Bowser with an Action Tag. The car itself is obviously included as well plus a pair of bombs. Once everything has been set up, Bowser can be put in the driver’s seat and you can pull the yellow lever to make the hood ornament move or trigger other tricks.

Shigeru Miyamoto says he’s still not thinking about retiring

Shigeru Miyamoto just celebrated his 71st birthday last month, but retirement still doesn’t seem to be on his mind.
Miyamoto, the creator of hit franchises like Mario and The Legend of Zelda, was asked if he’s ever tempted to retire in an interview with The Guardian. He’s spent well over four decades working at Nintendo.

November 13: Bandai Namco has officially established Studio 2 and Studio S for commissioned projects, and the news actually has significant relevance when it comes to Nintendo.
Thus far these teams have worked on games that were all been made in partnership with the Big N. The list includes Mario Kart 8, Super Smash Bros. for Wii U and 3DS, Mario Sports Superstars, Mario Kart Tour, ARMS, and Super Smash Bros. Ultimate.
