General Nintendo

USgamer has published a massive feature in which it delves into the topic of Nintendo’s quest for inclusivity. It features plenty of comments from EAD manager and original Animal Crossing director Katsuya Eguchi as well as Animal Crossing: New Leaf director Aya Kyogoku.

Among the topics discussed is Nintendo’s mission to create games that appeal to all types of players. Eguchi started off by saying:

With just a couple of weeks remaining until this year’s Gamescom, Nintendo has started to share more details about its presence at the expo. Today we’ve learned more about how Pokemon will be represented.

On August 14, Pokemon battle system lead developer Shigeki Morimoto will sign autographs for fans and will start a tournament with six players. Aside from this, fans can look forward to a distribution for the Pokeball Vivillon and there will be an exclusive video message from Junichi Masuda for Omega Ruby and Alpha Sapphire.

I don’t think many people could pick a single “favorite” Nintendo game; most of us end up picking a top three or top five in a desperate attempt to include every game we’ve ever found truly special.

Here at Nintendo Everything, though, our interview subjects get no such privilege. We asked three developers– Black Forest Games, The Game Bakers, and Adam Rippon from Muteki Corporation and Choice Provisions– to provide for us two games: first, their favorite Nintendo-published game of all time. A tough task, no doubt, but on top of that? A second question! We also asked for their favorite non-Nintendo game on a Nintendo platform.

Could you pick just two? Check out the answers we got in below for inspiration– you might be surprised at some of the answers.
