Metal Tales: Overkill release date

Zerouno Games has set a release date for Metal Tales: Overkill, its rock music inspired rogue-like 3D shooter. The game is now confirmed to be heading to Switch on April 22, 2022.

Metal Tales: Overkill will initially be sold via the eShop. Later on, two special boxed versions will be made available on Switch, though only in Europe. Tesura Games is planning a Deluxe Edition with a full color printed manual, a themed guitar pick, and a sticker sheet all in the box. Zerouno Games is also readying its own Collector’s Edition featuring the sticker sheet, guitar pick, and color manual as well as a 56-page art book filled with some of the artwork from the game and a magnetic bottle opener all delivered inside a specially created box.

Zerouno says the physical versions “will have extremely limited numbers available at launch and more details on how to purchase these will be released soon.”
