Hey everyone, Metroid Dread is here!

I’ve been playing the game and it’s been on par with my expectations (which were very high!). I decided to share my first impressions in this small video for the Nintendo Everything’s YouTube channel. Check it out the to see if our opinions about the game are the same or in case you want to know if it’s for you. Nintendo has come out with another “Switch My Way” commercial. This time around, it’s Pokemon Brilliant Diamond and Shining Pearl as well as Mario Party Superstars that get the focus. View the advert below.

Goosebumps Dead of Night update 1.01

Scholastic, Sony Pictures Consumer Products, and developer Cosmic Forces have issued a new 1.01 update for Goosebumps: Dead of Night. It adds an Extreme Mode with supercharged monster AI, new achievements, and more.

It’s somewhat of a surprise to see Goosebumps: Dead of Night getting an update after such a lengthy period. The title came to Switch in July 2020, so it’s been well over a year since the title first debuted.

As for the new update, features of the patch include:

Ninjala Hatsune Miku trailer

We previously reported that a new Hatsune Miku collaboration was planned for Ninjala, and we now have a proper trailer for the event. All players can participate in the fun now.

Nintendo is back with another “Switch My Way” commercial that promotes a couple of games. Along with Animal Crossing: New Horizons, it also features Just Dance 2022. Check out the advert below.

A physical release of Supraland has been confirmed, with Limited Run Games handling distribution. The company is teaming up with Humble Games and Supra Games to produce a boxed version.

Supraland will be offered as a standalone release on Switch. Limited Run Games is not making any special editions at this time.

Corpse Party Switch

To start out 2021, the original Corpse Party – also known as Corpse Party: Blood Covered …Repeated Fear – released on Switch in Japan. XSEED has now announced that it will be publishing the game in North America this month.

Did you know that the Switch OLED comes with its own screen protector? This is officially referred to as an “anti-scattering adhesive film”. And you’ll want to leave it alone.

Nintendo’s latest Switch system features an OLED display, which is quite different than the plastic LCD panel we’ve seen with the console previously. To protect the screen against scratches and prevent glass from breaking into sharp shards if damage were to occur, the film is used in the new model.

A new technical analysis for Metroid Dread has come in, which offers insight into the game’s frame rate, resolution, and more. The piece comes from Digital Foundry which just went live a short while ago.

Grand Theft Auto: The Trilogy - The Definitive Edition Switch

Grand Theft Auto: The Trilogy – The Definitive Edition is coming to Switch, Rockstar Games has revealed. It will launch later in 2021.

The package of games will include Grand Theft Auto III, Vice City, and San Andreas. Each one “will feature across-the-board upgrades including graphical improvements and modern gameplay enhancements”, though they’ll retain “the classic look and feel of the originals.” Rockstar says it will have more information in the weeks ahead.
