Mail Mole

A major patch has gone live for Mail Mole, Undercoders’ 3D platformer. “Xpress Deliveries”, otherwise known as version 1.2.0, is available on Switch.

Today’s update includes new levels, costumes from indie games, and more. We’ve included additional information below.

Paint the Town Red

South East Games recently brought its first-person brawler Paint the Town Red to Switch. A bunch of footage showing off the new release can be seen below.

TicToc Games’ new shoot ’em up title B.ARK just came to Switch this week. For a look at some footage, check out the gameplay below.

B.ARK is accessible digitally for Switch via the eShop. More information and a trailer can be found here.

Although Streets of Rage 4 already made it to retail, Merge Games is working on a new boxed version. The upcoming Anniversary Edition includes the main game and Mr. X Nightmare DLC. You can check out the boxart above.

The Streets of Rage 4 Anniversary Edition is planned for September 24. Pre-orders are open on Amazon and Best Buy. Those in the UK can reserve it here.

Animal Crossing: New Horizons

Animal Crossing: New Horizons’ latest update was distributed this week, and while it was fairly low-key, that hasn’t stopped fans from datamining. Based on findings, there’s some hope that Nintendo could still have plans to add Brewster’s café. 

DodoCode and Animal Crossing World noticed that version 1.11.0 includes a camera parameter change to the code reference ‘IdrMuseumCafe’. Version 1.10 previously added new camera settings for ‘IdrMuseumCafe’ along with a new reference to a third type of Museum entrance known as ‘IdrMuseumEnt03’.

No More Heroes 3

The No More Heroes franchise was dormant for about a decade following the release of the second entry on Wii. But we then saw Travis Strikes Again: No More Heroes in 2019, Switch ports of the previous titles last year, and we’re about to get No More Heroes 3. You can definitely say that the series’ future is looking bright.

No More Heroes has stayed within the gaming space, but creator Suda51 is interested in expanding the IP into areas. Speaking with IGN, he talked about how he hopes there’ll be a movie or TV show based on the series someday. Also revealed is that one past proposal “came really close” to happening, with a decision even having been made egarding “the actor to play the main character, but it never made it into production.”
