Monster Hunter Rise

Past Monster Hunter games were known for splitting up their worlds into segmented areas with loading screens. With more recent entries though, Capcom finally started to move away from that. Loading screens have become a thing of the past with a more seamless world.

Monster Hunter Rise director Yasunori Ichinose revealed to IGN that this wasn’t always the plan for the upcoming Switch title. Originally, loading screens were going to be brought back without that sandbox environment.

Yasunori explained why this was and what change, stating:

The Amazing American Circus

Following its announcement late last year, The Amazing American Circus has received a final release date. Klabater, in partnership with Juggler Games, have set a May 20 release date for the single-player circus empire-building game.

Corpse Party Blood covered: …Repeated fear. is a few weeks from its Switch release – in Japan that is. While we’re waiting to see if the game will be picked up for the west, we do have some good news for fans overseas.

The listing for Corpse Party Blood covered: …Repeated fear. has popped up on the Switch eShop, and it reveals support for both Japanese and English. It’s possible that the title will be offered officially in North America and Europe later on, but if that doesn’t happen, you’ll be happy to hear that it can be fully played in English. You’ll simply need to purchase the game from the Japanese eShop, which is possible as long as you set up a Japanese Nintendo Account on your Switch system.

Atelier Mysterious Trilogy Deluxe Pack

Koei Tecmo and Gust announced Atelier Mysterious Trilogy Deluxe Pack earlier this week. Although it’ll be released in the west, similar to past titles, it’ll be digital only.

Fortunately, Asia is coming through with an English release. Better yet, it’s been confirmed that the retail version there will fully support English.

Play-Asia has already opened pre-orders here. Look for the trilogy of Atelier titles to land on Switch in April.

Littlewood

Developer Sean Young has set a Switch release date for Littlewood, the peaceful and relaxing RPG. The game will launch digitally on February 25.

Story of Seasons: Pioneers of Olive Town

XSEED Games has confirmed that digital pre-orders are now live for Story of Seasons: Pioneers of Olive Town. It can be purchased standalone at $49.99 or as a bundle with the Expansion Pass DLC as the “Expansion Pass Set” for $69.99 with a 10 percent pre-order discount. The Expansion Pass will be sold separately on the eShop at launch for $19.99, with a 15 percent early bird discount lasting until April 12.

Those that pre-order Story of Seasons: Pioneers of Olive Town digitally in North America will receive the Buffalo Costume DLC, inspired by title mascot Buffy. It will be sold later on as a separate download for $1.99. In Europe, Marvelous is offering the Fox Costume DLC with digital pre-orders, which will be available for purchase separately in the states “several months after launch.”
