Warner Bros. Interactive and NetherRealm Studios have shared a new trailer for The Joker in Mortal Kombat 11. Watch it below.
The Joker launches for Kombat Pack owners on January 28, followed by the full release on February 4.
Metro Redux announced for Switch

Deep Silver and 4A Games today announced Metro Redux, a package containing Metro 2033 and Metro: Last Light. Retailers previously leaked the collection.
Metro 2033 and Metro: Last Light will have their two campaigns as well as all DLC. The game will be offered physically and contains all content on a 16GB cartridge with no download needed.

Super Smash Bros. Ultimate reveals Byleth from Fire Emblem: Three Houses

Fans have long been wondering which character will be closing out the Super Smash Bros. Ultimate Fighter Pass. During a presentation with director Masahiro Sakurai today, that question was finally answered.
Byleth from Fire Emblem: Three Houses is joining the roster. It’s not that alone, as the character will be available in both male and female forms.
Byleth is coming to Super Smash Bros. Ultimate on January 28.

Dragon Quest: Your Story getting an English release on Netflix next month

Dragon Quest: Your Story debuted in Japan last August. The movie was based on Dragon Quest V, Square Enix’s RPG that first appeared on the Super Famicom in 1992 and later on DS in 2008 / 2009.
Thankfully, an English release of Dragon Quest: Your Story is in the cards. Netflix has updated with a listing confirming that it will have the film available to stream for subscribers next month.

Super Smash Bros. Ultimate – Mr. Sakurai Presents “???” live stream

Today’s Super Smash Bros. Ultimate presentation with director Masahiro Sakurai will be starting soon. The live stream kicks off at 6 AM PT / 9 AM ET / 2 PM in the UK / 3 PM in Europe.
As Nintendo has said earlier in the week, the new video will introduce the next DLC fighter for Super Smash Bros. Ultimate. Sakurai will be presenting the news in a 35-minute rundown.

Europe and Australia getting Heroland on January 31

The RPG Heroland made it to North America last month. As for those in Europe and Australia, Marvelous today announced that the game will arrive physically and digitally on January 31.
While supplies last, a day one Knowble Edition will be distributed at select retailers. It includes a physical copy of the game, drawstring pouch, musical selections soundtrack CD, theme park-style folded map, and sumo wrestling papercraft. Pricing is set at £39.99 / €49.99.
Heroland will be available to pre-load on the eShop starting January 23 for £32.99 / €39.99 / $60 AUD.

Japan’s top 100 best-selling games of 2019

The latest issue of Famitsu has a listing of the top 100 best-selling games in Japan of 2019. It’s actually a very late release that comes out on top – that being Pokemon Sword/Shield at nearly three million copies sold.

One Piece: Pirate Warriors 4 – details on the game’s online co-op modes

The latest issue of Weekly Jump magazine has revealed a couple of new details about One Piece: Pirate Warriors 4. The game will have a total of four different online co-op modes:
- Giant Boss Battle: Work together with friends to beat huge bosses like Kaido
- Total Bounty Battle: Work together with friends and try to raise your bounty as high as possible
- Timed Defense Battle: Defend your team’s turf
- Turf War: Compete for territory with three teams of four players
One Piece: Pirate Warriors 4 will be released on March 26 in Japan and on March 27 in the rest of the world.
SEGA Ages Sonic the Hedgehog 2: First details on the game’s various modes and options

Yesterday, the latest issue of Famitsu revealed that Knuckles would be playable in SEGA Ages Sonic the Hedgehog 2. Today, SEGA opened up the Japanese website for the game, which has a ton of info on what’s new in this release of the game (credit goes to Gematsu for the translation).
