Monster Truck Championship announced for Switch

The racing and simulation game Monster Truck Championship is on the way to Switch, publisher Nacon and developer Teyon have announced. It’ll launch this fall as a physical and digital release.

ESA monitoring coronavirus situation, but “moving ahead full speed” with E3 2020

GDC, one of the biggest gaming events of the year, was postponed last week due to concerns stemming from the coronavirus. It will now be held sometime during the summer.
With GDC having been pushed back and PAX East 2020 wrapping up this past weekend, the next notable gaming event to look forward to is E3 2020 in June. The Entertainment Software Association, who organizes E3, told Vice that the show is “moving ahead full speed”. However, they’re “watching the situation very closely” and “will continue to be vigilant”.

Switch turns three years old

As it’s now March 3 in Japan, Switch is officially three years old. The console launched around the world on March 3, 2017.
Switch has been an extremely successful console for Nintendo so far, especially following the Wii U – which many would agree was a disappointment. The system has already sold over 50 million units worldwide, surpassing the Wii U, GameCube, N64, and SNES. It’s just a matter of time until other platforms like the NES are overtaken as well.
