Late last week, the children’s product safety certificates for Cloud, Ganondorf, and Sonic were updated. The first two had an additional run of manufacturing this month while Sonic went through the same process in September.

Usually when this happens, it means that a restock is on the horizon. Expect to see Cloud, Ganondorf, and Sonic available for purchase once again in the near future.

Kirby Star Allies

One of the elements in Kirby Star Allies that might be easy to glance over is the game’s menu skits. Players can watch a variety of skits while looking at the title, file select, and mode select menus. What you may not be aware of is the work that went into creating them.

This week, Tatsuya Kamiyama gave some insight into how the skits – of which there are 82 patterns – were created. Read what the developer had to say on the subject below.

Bethesda’s Pete Hines had quite a few interesting things to say about Switch during a panel at PAX Aus 2018 last week. We already heard Hines mentioning that the company is considering the console for its games in almost every case, but he actually had much more to say about Nintendo’s platform.

Hines first spoke about Switch support in general and why the publisher has been putting as many games as it has on the platform thus far. The big takeaway is that the primary reason for the lack of Bethesda support on Nintendo platforms in the past was simply due to tech specs. For Switch, what the system is capable matched up fairly well with what Bethesda is doing and the developers have allowed for these games to happen.

XSEED announced this week that Fate/Extella Link is coming to North America in Q1 2019. Better yet, it’ll be accompanied by a special release. Amazon is taking pre-orders for the Fleeting Glory Limited Edition here.

The limited edition comes with a few extra goodies. Fans will be given the game, a soundtrack CD, a pack of 10 collectible cards depicting each of the new Servants, a cloth poster, and an acrylic diorama all housed in a custom box.

If limited editions aren’t your thing, you can also pre-order a standard copy of Fate/Extella Link on Switch here.

Atlus has discounted several games on the North American 3DS eShop. Entries in the Etrian Odyssey and Shin Megami Tensei franchises are up to 70% off.
