First teased two days ago, the next event coming to Animal Crossing: Pocket Camp has now been confirmed. Themed after Japanese Summer festivals, there will be lots of festive stalls and Summer-related activities. The event will start tomorrow, August 3rd.

Outlined during the latest Feh Channel episode, the Summer Celebration event celebrating the one year and six month anniversary of Fire Emblem Heroes is now live. A variety of events will be happening throughout August:

  • Summer Celebration Log-in Bonus: Two consecutive special log-in bonus periods from today until August 30th; you can get two orbs every day, for a total of 40 orbs
  • Summer Celebration Quests: From today until August 30th, special quests are available requiring you to defeat enemies using specific Hero types; you can get a total of 20 orbs completing these quests
  • Daily Reward Maps: From today until August 12th, there will be daily reward maps that come in two difficulty modes, Normal and Hard; beating all of them gets you a total of 20 orbs
  • Double EXP and SP: from today until August 16th, the EXP and SP earned in battle will be doubled
  • Tempest Trials+: on August 14th, the next Tempest Trials+ event will start; the rewards are Heroes who appeared in Tempest Trials during 2017, so this is a good chance to fill up your catalogue if you missed them the first time around
  • Daily Summoning Focus Revivals: finally, from today until August 17th, there will be one limited-time skill-related summoning focus per day; these will only be available for 24 hours each, so make sure to do your free pull on them every day

WorldNeverland: Elnea Kingdom boxart

WorldNeverland: Elnea Kingdom dropped on the Switch eShop earlier this year. Now in Japan at least, the simulation RPG is getting a physical release.

The new retail copy is slated for October 25 in Japan. Pricing is set at 4,600 yen. As a bonus, buyers will receive the three-piece White Wing set.

Amazon Japan has added in a listing for Peach Ball: Senran Kagura. We’re able to get a first look at the limited edition packaging, boxart, and first screenshots as a result.

The limited edition includes a copy of the game, a physical version of Senran Kagura Reflexions with the additional characters and three new Fabulous Reflexions, and a downloadable content code. Pricing is set at 9,960 yen.

Finally, we have a few screenshots from Peach Ball: Senran Kagura below. They’re a bit on the small side, but they do give us an actual look at the game.

Nintendo has posted another update to the Smash Bros. Blog for Super Smash Bros. Ultimate. This time around, we get to hear about Wario.

BlobCat is making its way to Switch next week, a listing on the Australian eShop reveals. We’ll be seeing it on August 9 as a digital download.

BlobCat involves protecting the DiceMice, taking on puzzles in single-player mode, and battling against others in multiplayer. Local and online multiplayer are supported, including cross-play.

Super Mario Odyssey’s latest outfit is now live. Players can spend their coins on the Hariet Hat & Hariet Suit. The hat costs 3,000 coins while the suit requires 5,000 coins.

It goes without saying that the outfit here is styled after Hariet, one of the Broodals. There are similar options for Topper and Rango in the game.
