Pokemon Sun/Moon

The third global mission for Pokemon Sun and Moon is now live, and it tasks players with trading over one million Pokemon via the GTS. The mission will last until February 14. To participate, you must speak to the receptionist in Festival Plaza; she is located on the right side of the central castle. If the mission is successful, then players will recieve 2,000 FC. If the mission is a failure, players will only receive 200 FC. Players who have their accounts tied to Global Link will earn double the FC. Additionally, if a player makes 5 trades during the mission period, they will be given a Rare Candy, and all players will receive a Friend Ball if 2,000,000 Pokemon are traded.

Indie developer Rainy Night Creations announced a few months ago that their new game, Vaccine, would be coming to Wii U as well as other platforms.

Today, Rainy Night Creations have posted on their Twitter account that they already have a date for Vaccine on Xbox One, PS4 and Steam. Unfortunately, the Wii U version failed lotcheck and they have to keep testing it.

The good news about this is that they won’t cancel Vaccine on Wii U regardless the situation, so it will probably be launching a month later than the others.

It was previously announced that Vaccine was slated for Q1 2017. Hopefully it will maintain that release window in Wii U.

Lifespeed will be live on the 3DS eShop on February 2, and we now know how much free space you’ll need to download  the game. The game will require 2,006 blocks, which clocks in at around 250 MB.

Best Buy is now taking pre-orders for the recently announced Pikachu New 3DS XL for North America. You can reserve it here. GameStop apparently sold out already, so it looks like options are already beginning to grow thin.

IronFall Invasion developer VD-Dev announced RISE: Race The Future for Switch and Wii U. Development is moving forward – despite the sad passing of the studio’s co-founder Fernando Velez.

Some platform changes have been made since the original announcement. For one thing, Wii U is now out of the picture. VD-Dev is also focusing on PC first, with other platforms to follow. VD-Dev still hopes to make a Switch version, but since the game is initially launching at the end of this year, we won’t be seeing it on a Nintendo platform until 2018.
