Super Bomberman R being made by former Bomberman devs

After speaking with a Konami representative, Siliconera has learned that Nintendo and Konami worked together to make Super Bomberman R happen. Moreover, the site reports that Konami’s internal team is handling development, which is comprised of former Hudson staffers who contributed to past Bomberman titles as well as Hexadrive.

New in-game Super Mario Odyssey footage showing Mario’s moves

At the Nintendo Switch Experience 2017 in Japan, a bit of footage was shown of Super Mario Odyssey. It doesn’t show a ton, but it’s a new in-game look of Mario’s moves. We have the recording below.

Today at a Nintendo event in Tokyo, Patrick Söderlund announced that EA SPORTS FIFA will be coming to the Nintendo Switch. To take you behind-the-scenes into the event we have included a full transcript from today’s announcement:

Reggie talks Switch – online service, info teased on rebuying classic games, supply concerns, 3DS here to stay

Wired caught up with Nintendo of America president Reggie Fils-Aime following the Nintendo Switch Presentation 2017. He weighed in on a number of topics about the system, such as its online service and concerns about supply. Reggie also teased that there could be news for those who already purchased classic titles – think Virtual Console – on the likes of Wii U and Wii. Aside from that, “3DS has a long life in front of it,” Reggie said.

Nintendo’s Damon Baker says “many more reveals to come” for Switch games, “updates in the coming weeks”

According to Damon Baker from Nintendo of America, who handles licensing at the company, there are “many more reveals to come” regarding Switch games. He passed along that tease on Twitter earlier today, while also adding that we can look forward to “more updates in the coming weeks.”

Nintendo Switch Experience 2017 day 1 live stream

The first day of Nintendo Switch Experience 2017 is now beginning in Japan, and there are plans to host a live stream straight from the show floor. Today’s broadcast begins at 5:30 PM PT / 8:30 PM ET / 1:30 AM in the UK / 2:30 AM in Europe.
There will be plenty of stage shows about specific Switch games, booth reports, and a couple of concerts. Watch it all as it happens below.
