Theatrhythm Dragon Quest will feature over 60 tracks, according to producer Ichiro Hazama.

Hazama and composer Koichi Sugiyama were interviewed in a Japanese magazine recently. During the discussion, Hazama said that there will be roughly 5-6 tracks per game, given that there are ten entries in the Dragon Quest series.

Hazama also teased downloadable content for Theatrhythm Dragon Quest. The team will be listening to user feedback following the game’s launch to determine which songs to release, he said.

In case you’re wondering, Theatrhythm Final Fantasy has more than 70 songs from 13 games while Theatrhythm Final Fantasy: Curtain Call features 221 tracks.

Box art for Hyrule Warriors

Hyrule Warriors is one of those Wii U games that has managed to hold its value pretty well. Despite having launched in September, there haven’t been a whole lot of major sales.

You can at least save a bit of cash on Hyrule Warriors by ordering the game from Amazon. It’s dropped to $48.98, which is $10 off the normal asking price.

Devil’s Third creator Tomonobu Itagaki talked up the Wii U game a bit more on his personal Facebook page.

There’s nothing too major here, but Itagaki does mention that you should use the Pro Controller while playing Devil’s Third. He also mentioned how it’s much different compared to what was shown back in 2011. That makes sense given what we saw during E3 last year.

Below is a roundup of Itagaki’s latest Facebook remarks:

Q.U.B.E: Director’s Cut was confirmed for Wii U back in April 2013. It’s been nearly two years, but the game still hasn’t launched on the eShop. So what’s going on?

We reached out to Toxic Games recently, and the studio’s Dan Da Rocha told us that Q.U.B.E “has taken longer than expected”. However, the team is “on track to release April/May time across all consoles (apart from 360).” Only a few more months!

Nintendo’s Koichi Hayashida wants to see Captain Toad “featured in a variety of games”. It also seems as though Hayashida would be interested in having the character end up in Mario Kart. That information comes from the latest issue of GamesMaster, which contains a short interview with the Captain Toad: Treasure Tracker producer.

When asked what he foresees in the future for Captain Toad, Hayashida said:

At this stage we don’t know. I personally want to see him featured in a variety of games. I’ve even ‘secretly’ emailed the director of Mario Kart to see if he’d consider including Captain Toad, but I haven’t heard back from him yet!

Director Shinya Hiratake also answered the same question. His thoughts are as follows:

Through the development of this game I’ve grown even fonder of Captain Toad. he can’t jump, and struggles to defeat his opponents, but it’s precisely that he is not a powerful character that he can show us his unique take on all these situations. as a developer of his game, and one of his fans, I look forward to seeing where he goes next.
