Nintendo previously confirmed that the second wave of amiibo are releasing in December. However, the company still has not provided a final date.
That’s where Amazon and Walmart come in. Both retailers are listing December 14 release dates for the second round of amiibo like Luigi and Zelda.
Plus, there’s also this tweet from Walmart:

I’d say December 14 is looking likely at the moment!
Thanks to Kevin for the tip.

The 3DS features functionality that allows users to join online sessions of their friends. By heading to the Friend List, you simply tap “Join Friend’s Game” to connect.
With the release of Super Smash Bros., the Wii U now has similar functionality. You can join a friend’s session by touching the “Available to play!” area of the Friend List. It should come in handy!

I know a few folks had some doubts as to whether the defective Samus amiibo we posted yesterday was real or not. The figure’s owner has now posted additional images, which does seem to ultimately confirm that the story wasn’t fabricated.
Here are the latest photos:

For the Tetrobot & Co. giveaway, we’d like you to talk about your favorite unusual uses of technology in a game or your favorite puzzle games. We’ll give extra consideration to those who put a little effort into their submissions. It’s only fair, right? Feel free to link to screenshots, videos, or even soundtrack samples!
We’ll let the Tetrobot & Co. giveaway run through Thursday. Winners will be announced soon after.

Rumor: Bayonetta 2 sold 68,000 units in the U.S. last month
Posted on 10 years ago by Brian(@NE_Brian) in Rumors, Wii U | 66 Comments
Nintendo did not disclose any official numbers for Bayonetta 2 as part of the latest NPD results. However, an important piece of sales data appears to have leaked out.
NeoGAF member “Dartastic” claims that Bayonetta 2 sold 68,000 units in the U.S. during October. We’re generally wary of posting NPD leaks that don’t originate from creamsugar, who is considered to be a reliable source for sales figures. However, Dartastic’s post was apparently verified by a moderator of the NeoGAF community.
Bayonetta 2 launched on October 24. Since NPD’s reporting period ended on November 1, the game only saw about a week of sales.
